Code Geass Boukoku no Akito 2 Postponed (Confirmed to be Sep 14 - Update: Jun 21 2013)

According to the official blog, the premiere of Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito 2 - Hikisakareshi Yokuryuu was postponed until this summer. It was previously announced to be shown this spring.

if you want something close to a "variable source," when i saw it in theaters it said it would come out in spring but they said the same thing about this movie.

Actually in the official twitter of Akito the staff confirmed that the OVA took place at the time between Code Geass season 1 and season 2, so at that time Lelouch was still alive and well.

I just don't want a lot of screen time given to the original cast. It's cool to build hype and what not but seeing this

makes me a little concerned as that is a whole new thing going on there given how this Akito story is suppose to be interlaced within the CG timeline.

It really shouldn't be that confusing. The actual time frame is still the same.

S1 end = Lelouch loses the duel against Suzaku, gets captured. The Emperor rewrites his memory (off-screen).

Akito OVA 2 = "Julius" shows up in Europe...in the company of Suzaku.

R2 start = Lelouch is in Ashford, brainwashed into being a normal student again.

It should also be mentioned that "Julius" isn't going to be the protagonist but only a possible antagonist.

Thus, technically they are two different characters and their roles won't be identical.

lol Julius Kingsley. This confuses me a little more as to where this series takes place in the timeline then and how Lelouch is supposed to factor in why and how since I thought this was supposed to be around the time that he was Geassed into forgetting his identity.

I knew Suzaku was gonna be in this series, but Lelouch.

Well we'll have to wait another 6 months for a BD release, just like Dragonball Z; Battle of the Gods
And just like Steins;Gate's movie will be released the end of this year on BD.
Sad but true.
