For part 2: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/19694
For sequel series: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/2415

This is only the series with over 100 chapters, there are many more titles available with less than 100 chapters which are also great series worth reading, this is only for those who might want some longer series.

It only says website in the title, but there’s also an app, however not every series is available on the app.

No sequel series were added to the list (Tokyo ghoul, Jojo’s), because they’re in the sequel series interest stack (and there’s no room anyway).

You can read all of the series with every chapter for $2.

The only series without every chapter available for free are:
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai (Chapters are added as the volumes are released) NOT LIKELY TO GET ANY MORE VOLUMES.

These are the series only available on the website:
Golden Kamuy
Jigokuraku (Hell’s Paradise)

There are some manga that immediately hook you at the beginning, and make you ecstatic and hopeful that they will at least keep it up. But over time you notice how the things that made you interested at first give way to stale tropes, lazy character development, nonsensical plot decisions, well-telegraphed "mystery" reveals and other forms of writing impotence.

Notable plotlines remain unresolved, characters that should've stayed dead are being resurrected, difficult dilemmas are being resolved through talk-no-jutsu and plot armor, antagonists that do bad things aren't held properly accountable, lack of protagonist's ability is circumvented by sudden power-ups, lack of agency circumvented by deus ex machinae... surely you know a series or two that have fallen victim to one or more of these, perhaps as a result of either poor planning or editorial department's insistence on stalling overall plot progression so that more volumes could be sold—until it wears itself too thin to continue at all. As a result, those of you who keep following the story witness its slow, agonizing descent into the abyss by author's own hand, pleading to end its misery.

This list mainly includes manga that at least at some point—usually their first few volumes—were good enough to warrant a recommendation before everyone realized where it was going. Aside from that, I also decided on a whim to include Solo Leveling and Grashros (both of which were never worth recommending as far as I'm concerned) simply because their continuous decline in writing is remarkable on its own. It's a bit of a so-bad-it's-good situation, so you can still enjoy them ironically.

This list constitutes my personal views and stances. If something isn't on it, it likely means I haven't read it or I think it was never that good to begin with. Feel free to shoot me suggestions via DMs, but make sure you have a convincing argument if it's not something that's already on my main manga/anime list. I don't promise it'll end up here, but I will consider all suggestions.

Number of sales and date that number was acquired from in notes for each. Some of them I have personally estimated a higher figure than the date says.

No. 162 would be Nippon no Rekishi. It's for children and I can't find it on MAL. It has 24 volumes and started in 1981, and has sold 20.2 million (March 19th, 2020).

No. 165 would be Cuffs - Kizu Darake no Chizu by Jin Tojo, and has sold 20 million (February 14th, 2022).

No. 183 would be The Tale of Genji by Waki Yamato. Couldn't find exactly which one it was she made, and has sold 20 million (May 1st, 2021).

This is the work with the recipe that appeared in the manga work. Wouldn't it be fun to actually make and taste them?

Some of the main themes of the manga are comedy and hero manga.

This list is derived from The Anime Man's "The OFFICIAL Top 100 Manga Of All Time (According To The Internet) Is Actually Surprising..." video. The video goes over the results of an online poll that he created in which people could vote for their favorite manga series.

The poll, taken in 2018, garnered over 160,000 votes from the international anime community. This is a complete list of the results along with the total vote count for each series. The list is in descending order, meaning the manga with the most votes come first.

Some entries are omitted because they don't have a MAL page. This is usually because they're web comics or made outside of Japan. Those omitted entries are listed here:
#22: I Love Yoo (1,338 Votes)
#46: unOrdinary (717 Votes)

Note: In the video, Joey accidentally counts all votes for Seven Deadly Sins and THE Seven Deadly Sins separately, meaning that there are technically 99 manga in this list. In the true list, Seven Deadly Sins would've been #13 with 1,795 votes. However, I've kept it in it's original position for the sake of being consistent with the video. THE Seven Deadly Sins garnered 271 votes, tying it with #89 (Aku no Hana), hence why there is no #90 on this list.

Series that involve cooking and good food. The way to a person's heart is through their stomach and what more to fill the stomach but with comforting food. Not necessarily centered on food but there are moments when food is really good and appreciated.

"Best" is subjective, but I think we can all agree that, in a manga, there is always that one arc that blows the rest of the story in the water: a turning point where the status quo is challenged and the plot reaches higher stakes. Basically, the peak of a series.

Presenting my list of the "best" arcs in several Weekly Shonen Jump manga, in no particular order. This list also includes some manga that have transferred to a different magazine (e.g. Chainsaw Man, World Trigger, D.Gray-man, etc.), since their arcs were published when they were still in WSJ.
