Not a bad episode, it's good to see Kaaya and Neeba again. The concept of time spaces inside Gilgamesh's mind (thus the mythical tower) is pretty strange but opens quite a lot of possibilities. Let's see what they do with it.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

Even though six months have passed in the real world, it was only 10 days for neeba and kayaa. It was nice to see them again. I wonder how they will react if Jil's team catches up to them.

Usually I'm not a fan of the game-like format of fighting where each side throws their attacks at each other one at a time and stuff, but in this anime which is actually based on a game and it's done in such a comical way, I love it.

We also finally found out what those coffins they were carting around were for. their voices were so annoying though. I'd rather not see too much of them for the remainder of the series.

Awwww, Jil and Fatina held hands... MOAR I SAY MOAR.

I thought this was a good episode, I mean finally a good fighting moment, albeit against really ghetto sounding action figures. There's just something about those Neeber/Kaaya scenes that makes you wanna turn off the computer and go watch the Food network.
Oh yea the plot seems pretty interesting now especially with Henaro's past n stuff.

The robot was pretty cool. Good to see Neeba and Kaaya weren't completely forgotten in the course of this, although it was a bit boring to watch them.

This was a nice episode. Good to finally see what was in those coffins.

I was bored. The animation was clunky, and these new characters/robots are lame to me. On the upside Henaro wasn't annoying, but very useful. She is now back at the ambivalence level of consciousness.

hmmm reasonable episode, so that explains the coffins, although there wasn't all that much movement story wise but good to see Neeba and Kaaya again.

Pretty good episode if you ask me. Only animation was a crap in this episode. Though Gonzo can't afford to use great animation in all episodes(most studios can't afford).

So far 2nd season is really great.

Good episode. The coffins coming back up solved one of the biggest questions of last season ("Wtf are those black boxes?") but I think they could have been implemented better. The robot thing was just alright. I was expecting bodies of people that were notable (I.E. Wtf, is that Neeba/Jil's father...?)

How many floors do you think Neeba and Kayaa are ahead of the other groups?

Definitely agree, the animation seemed pretty fucked up for some reason this episode.

The episode as a whole though it wasn't too bad, the fight scenes didn't disappoint. As for the romantic developments, we will probably have to wait till like the last episode for any real progress lol.

It reacted to the robots, but looked like the thing Kayaa used to break Druaga's shield last season.

Maybe she is related to Pazuz?

Henaro becomes very suspicious this week and we see Neeba absolutly destroy all of Kaaya's beliefs(he actually has some really good points), this episode seemed more deep and dark than normal, and next episode doesn't look happy.

Nice pondering about fate and stuff. Average episode, although the whole king concept was interesting.

Ooooh, so the mystical tower is actually the heart of Gilgamesh, and the coffins that Pazuzuz was carrying were actually these 4 assassins.
Fuck Neeba and Kaaya, you traitors. Go die in a hole.

It was great to get a glimpse of Neeba's and Kaaya's accomplishments. It seems that they've grown a lot closer, which makes me even more curious to see Jil's reaction once he catches up. :D

Can't wait to see Ahmey in the next episode!

Agree totally, the first ep set out a Fatina/Jil pairing and seemed to forget about it.

Good ep, the pink haired assassin reminded me of Moro from xXxHolic, wonder if they were the same voice actor.
Neeba and Kaaya, good to see they aren't forgotten about but that bit with Neeba got a bit weird.

Maybe Henaro was also a climber. But that doesn't explain why she knows about the assassins :o

Oh boy, Kaaya and Neeba have sure aged in those 6 months, they look so much older now. I always wondered who that twintails from last season was, seems like Pazuzu intends to remain a pain in the ass even now. Looks like this is turning into a race against time between reaching the top of the tower and Gilgamesh becoming a tyrant beyond saving.

I though I was the only thought but in the anime the said time is slower for them so they should have age
