Can't wait for the next one to come out ^^ Mana met Matsuri in episode 4. But Koyori seemed to know about Matsuri in OVA 1 as well. And she didn't meet her till episode 5. And Koyori literally ran into Mayuko at the hospital in episode 6. But they acted as if it was their first time meeting in OVA 1. Not sure if Matsuri and Aono know of each other yet in OVA 1 though. So you can either say that this somehow takes place sometime during episode 6, or that this episode is just for fun and consistency and chronology isn't something they're not worried or thinking about. :P |

And as for where this took place in the anime, i dont think there worrying about that, because if you remember glasses girl took a photo of Matsuri with goth loli, and she didnt recognise Matsuri, nor did she know goth loli's name (just like i dont, me forgets...) |

Glasses girl (or the chick in my avatar) is Sae Sakura. Best character in Sola by far, followed by Mana. |

| it'll happen, sometime...lol, it was only released 2 months ago or so, and lunar are fairly busy, and subs are generally slow this time of the year, it'll come when it comes |
| Why is it that almost all animes have to have at least one episodes where all the are basically half naked, it's disturbing.... It was good, just not nearly as good as anything this series ever had, still excited to watch the next one |

| After finishing Sola, it is worth watching this ova, as it really cheer me up. Very comical and worth the watch. |
| That was a little funnier than this kind of thing usually is. Most often a goofing-around special episode is pretty lazy and dull. |

| Pretty nice special or 4.5th episode! The concept is as any other and fits rather decent in to the whole series, a slight bit of moe and fan service are always welcome! Nice special back to the main series! |

| With help from what Asrialys said, I've come to the conclusion that, through the production commitee naming the episode "A Different Route"--clearly a reference to the structure of many visual novels--either that they implicitly tweaked the timeline in order to fit this episode into the main series or that it is non-canon (which would obviously displease a lot of fans so this is less probable). Anyway I'm more concerned about this: were Yorito and Aono actual siblings? Maybe I'm underestimating how honorifically the Japanese speak, but while Yorito frequently calls Aono by her relative status of older sister, she just calls him by his name. I'd like to think that when they were human, they were close friends (in anime onii and onee are sometimes used loosely to show affection), with Aono starting to have romantic feelings towards Yorito before the whole sacrifice situation arose. She just seemed too attached to him, but she had doubts that they could become a pair (through watching him with Matsuri) so as a yaka she decided to remake him (or whatever) with the illusion that they are brother and sister. If this was the case it would explain Aono's frequently bizarre behaviour which can't be justified by her being a yaka and add more depth to this show which is much needed. |
