Glad to see Kuroko.

Key observations

- The last 2 volumes of "K" are vastly boosted by event tickets. Whereas the first week sales of K vol.5 was around 5.5k, here we see around 8k sales for vol.6 & 7

- Nekomonogatari added another 3.7k of sales. According to anecdotes I saw in Japanese forum, quite many casual fans of the -monogatari series did not even know the OVA was released (much less aired on TV) already. This would explain its bigger tail compared to other anime. This brings it much closer to what the last volume of Nise (just short of 60k).

- OreShura and GJ-bu have accumulated sales. Most likely to see them again next week because of the flood of new titles coming.

- Aikatsu v1 is also showing strength. A minor surprise hit for 2012 Fall anime.

- ROBOTICS;NOTES OP single failed to chart !!

Nice to see a big follow-up for NekoKuro v1.

Good to see OreShura v1 and SAO v5 continue to truck on and nice to see GJ-bu v1 add more.

This is really the calm before the storm... Next week is going to have pretty high thresholds with many "hits" coming out in the March 18~24 week. And some of them like Gundam UC v6 and Nanoha Movie 2 having multiple editions that will rank as well, lol.

You expect other titles in their 2nd or 3rd week to outsell K in its first week? It is not a matter of whether K is great but simple practical market maths that K is in the top spot.

Nice, For Vol.7, the character songs might be helping with the sale. I like them.

I'd say the opposite so far: this is fairly small second week. It's smaller than any Nise second week in absolute numbers and smaller than all but Nise v1 in terms of percentage of the first two weeks. It's still 7k behind any Nise volume as well.

I think it can still hit 55k (lowest Nise volume is 59k) but it'll take a little while unless the third week is unusually large.

I agree with the numbers. My focus is mainly on how Neko-Kuro v1 compared with the last volume out in the -monogatari franchise, which is Nise v5. And I think I misstated my point - instead of "bigger tail" the speculation is more about a "longer tail".

And I am also thinking a final figure of around 54-55k.
