I can't really confirm when Haruka is Haruka, so I might be off lol. It was good, but I feel like there should've been a change in the order and number of cake scenes or something, because that line felt extremely out of place... Ugh I'm super confused. Why would Futaki show any reaction to a previous chiffon cake? I thought for a minute that the one next to Riki at the end was actually Haruka when she dropped the plate... but if that were the case, there wouldn't have been the "do you like me?" and devious smile at the end. Someone please explain the scene to me. Why can't I comprehend this? I was under the impression that it was Haruka said "Last time?..." , not Kanata. Haruka was already behind Riki when he said that it was better than last time. I don't have any idea where they're going with it, the whole reason why kanata dressed up as haruka in the first place was to try and manipulate riki into stop trying to find out who's father was who's. asking him if he likes her is out of place. and i too was wtfing at why kanata would be suprised at Riki's comment about the cake being better than the previous one. Well, I think that the new focus is going to be that Haruka is still considered to be the useless sister. Futaki being able to bake good chiffon cakes even though egg foods are supposed to be Haruka's products, and Riki enjoying them, are supposed to anger Haruka when Futaki starts to tell her that she shouldn't even exist. I don't quite see where they're going after that. I'd like to see the resolution with the father, because it's making him out to be a crappy guy and they didn't explain the circumstance fully. It might be alright if they wrap it up well, but there was definitely an error at the end of the episode with that scene... I think the directors were thinking of animating that two different ways, and wound up mixing up two ideas without fixing it. I was under the impression that it was Haruka said "Last time?..." , not Kanata. Haruka was already behind Riki when he said that it was better than last time. Kanata dropped the chiffon cake, because she saw Haruka behind him already during that time(either out of shock or just to drop the act) , and then proceeded to act her usual unpleasant facade. That would make sense if the part with "do you like me" and all the time inbetween the events. Ehhh I still don't think it makes sense. Haruka would be standing in awe for like 10 seconds, and it still doesn't make sense why that "last time" line is in there. Maybe if Haruka didn't realize what was going on over at the bench, and just overheard Riki saying "better than last time", reacted out of surprise by saying "last time?" then Futaki saw her, dropped the cake, played with Riki and Haruka's feelings purposely in front of Haruka. Ugh it's still kind of dumb how it was done. |

There were 3 Cake scenes, well 2 and 1 muffin scene. Haruka (Fake) Bakes Muffins for Riki, He says it's good. And wanted Marmalade, Haruka(f) is like nonono Marmalade is bad with cake, which was a strange response Haruka makes cake for everyone, it sucked, (wtf? it wasn't like this last time) Haruka (F) gets confronted by Haruka in the third scene Ok so it was Futaki dressing up as Haruka and asking Riki to stop trying to find out who's really Shou's kid. And there is the whole cake thing |

| they really need to fire the sound director.... they're still doing that thing where they play a song for like 15 seconds and play the rest of the scene quietly only to suddenly start another song and repeat the process. I'm pretty sure quite literally that pretty much anybody who's played the visual novel would make better directors than the current ones. |

| AMAZING episode. An easy 5/5 for me. By the way, the visual novel readers should really stop flaming this anime for not following the visual novel word by word. I mean seriously, this is rated lower than Umineko (which was complete s***) despite being, in my opinion, a possible best romance anime of 2013 alongside Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo and one of my favorites from fall 2012. |

Also Haruka likes Citrus and uses Citrus shampoo and always smell like oranges. Kanata uses Mint. Riki picked it up. |

| Season 2 will probably be called best Yaoi of 2013/2014 if they keep the romance tag in there, and people get to Refrain. Huehuehuehue Jk. I don't see why the romance tag is even in LB anymore, honestly. Because of the system of adaptation they're using, which is excluding a key element of the VN, there will likely not be a single kiss scene in the LB anime. There's more hints of romance between Kyousuke and Riki than between Riki and any of the heroines, lmao. |

What I mean there is LB can retain its Romance as a genre on this season(Or to the 2nd season but Rin's arc will take the place). If they plan to make Kururgaya's arc to be an OVA, then this season doesn't have Romance as a genre to begin with. Besides, Kururgaya's story is still the part of LB story so it doesn't make sense if they separate Kururgaya's story either to this season or to the 2nd season. But if they remove the romance in Kurugaya's arc, that would be a whole new story. |

| just a possibility, but what if the next episodes after harukas route and between kuds route is actually Rin1? (without the whole narcolepsy thing) that way during kud's route, they can use riki/rin as the one's to save kud instead of just riki. Body painting could include Kud demonstrating while Riki is painting on Rin? (unless they go kud romance, body painting wouldn't work without something like this) inb4 old ritual body painting of FRIENDSHIP edit: Post from Resoni's twitter "There was an article saying Kud would meet with some conflict in ep 19, but it'd be strange if her arc started then. It's all vague~" as well as: We should be expecting to see episode titles/summaries next week |

| the thing is, they've had a pattern of putting in common/rin route episodes in between girl routes because it'd be awkward going straight into another girl route right away. and hm.. we'll just have to wait for the episode summaries and we'll pretty much have a rough idea of what the next 8 episodes are going to be about. |

Looking at it now, it seems extremely intentional. It's not hard to come up with a generic filler character. Maybe they'll bring up the idea that they look similar when it comes to Refrain. Or... maybe Kyousuke's just confirmed for time traveling serial killer husbando. |
| A lot of emotion to this route. I love it. However, they left out a lot of important detail about the Saigusa/Futaki family and it's past, so that's a bit of a disappointment. And yes, Futaki, you are a bitch. |
