| Finally watched this with the subs, instead of the raw since I was impatient earlier. I was wondering what happened there when he was imaging it, but now I know Kyoto, trolled us for the finale. LOL!. Anyways still a 10/10 for me since I loved the overall series of Hyouka and the little mysteries within it. |

| AWWWWWWWWW NOOO ITS ENDING. I haven't felt this way about a show in a long time. I think this show was very very well done. I really enjoyed everything about it. A great SOL with beautiful animation and really enjoyable characters. Not too much happened this episode.. but for some reason I feel damn satisfied. Getting trolled by Oreki made me a little sad but damn, I love all of these characters. I totally ship ChitandaXOreki to the fullest. All their little interactions are just so fun to watch. Like they aren't even like 'together' but their relationship is still awesome. If they do somehow get together in the future it'd be even more awesome. I'll really end up missing this show and hope they somehow continue it in the future. I don't think it was a masterpiece, but it was VERY well done, perhaps the closest thing you can get to one. Lol borderline masterpiece! :D Hopefully they'll continue it through a movie or something. Oh! Btw just hearing Oreki say, "I'm curious!" was so awesome! 5/5 for this episode. 9/10 for the series! |

| damn, it's over!! Dx and JUST when they were really getting on the eru x houtarou development towards the end, had me REALLY excited when houtarou told eru that he;d take care of her business side... until it turned out to be more of houtarou's mind trolling T-T im glad to see that mayaka and satoshi were getting along really well together. if only satoshi can look past his ridiculous ideologies involving a relationship with mayaka... everything would be perfect! this episode just didn't feel like a finale for me and left me feeling really empty :( it really cried out for a season 2! so cross my fingers on it!!! STILL A REALLY GOOD SERIES OVERALL THOUGH!!! |

| Having Irisu in the final episode was a personal huge win and the artwork was great. I don't know how Oreki could think that Chitanda looked beautiful in that outfit or whatever he was thinking but that's a Japanese thing. Ibara and Satoshi are just "normal" and I expected/wanted to see a kiss between Oreki and Chitanda but no, I got trolled instead, thank you, I'm honestly not satisfied with this as a final episode. |
| Such a tease! Oreki said he will take care of Chitanda's business... But is all in his imagination! We didn't really see Chitanda in the empress properly. But I still love it! I demand a season 2 now!!! 8/10 for me. I guess I'll look forward to another KyoAni work! (Chuunibyou?) |

| Animation was spectacular as always, and it especially shows in this ep. Oreki's "trolling" was both disappointing and funny to me at the same time. Though the mystery was a bit lacking this episode, then again Hyouka never needed a mystery to pull out its potential. Sometimes this series was boring, most of the time pure fun. 8/10 for me. |

| Great series, truly enjoyable and it created a great character in Oreki but that said i was a little disappointed that the interactions between Oreki and Eru were so limited; last episode implied that Satoshi and Mayaka is just a matter of time so i hope that the same applies to Oreki and Eru as well. |

| Well, that was a boring end. At least I think this time it is the end. I rather see it as a bonus episode as I thought it would end last week like everybody else, I guess. And that episode was great but also somewhat annyoing because of Satoshi. S2, I wonder.. what should they do then? They showed at the end that Eru and Houtarou are two completely different persons going into two different directions even though they have feelings for each other. Relationship between Satoshi and Ibara was quite openly dealt with in the last few episodes. What's left would be only more boring mysteries..? Wasn't volume 5 or so not animated anymore for the anime? What's happening there what was left out in the anime? Relationship wise between the main characters? For now I think Hyouka was great at times, with astonishing animation and a huge lack of SoL and an overload of pointless mysteries. 8/10 just because I can relate to that lazy Oreki and liked Chitanda, otherwise it rather deserves 6-7/10. |

| I'm gonna miss this show soo much, it's been half a year already, I was looking for Hyouka episode every week in half a year ... Tbh I wasn't satisfied with the ending, but this episode is truly amazing, the art works, animation, and dialogue were fit in every way. The last scene when Eru stood in front of the sakura tree, I just took it as my desktop bg, no words can describe its gorgeous beauty ... I wish Oreki had spoken out his mind that time, it would have been a perfect end, but I guess they wanna save it for later :P. Anyway, another great series come from Kyo ani, this studio was, is and will ever be, my most favorite anime studio of all time. 9/10 Another season please!!!!!!!! |
| That was great, albeit I am a bit disappointed the romance didn't go any farther. I really shouldn't be complaining though, because the ending really was amazing. It was beautiful, and not just visually. I usually don't like open ended endings like this, but this was done so well I cant really complain. I wonder if they'll make a second season or a movie or something. |

| Amazing animation in this episode... love the ending for the most part. If only the oreki confession was real it wudve made my day and the ending wudve been so much better. Overall magnificent series, kinda hope that they maybe make a movie or something to fill in the last volume of the light novel. |

| Man, I'm going to miss this show. It's been a great ride. The climax of Hyouka was definitely the school festival arc. In my opinion, it was when the storytelling, characterization and mystery really went well together. Some arcs were kinda boring (I'm looking at you Why didn't she ask EBA), yet i still found things worth to enjoy. On the bright side, there's still the last light novel to animate. Maybe KyoAni will adapt it as a movie in the future? *fingers crossed* |

| The first few episodes were terrible, but it really picked up at around EP11. So much character development, and Oreki was fun to follow. 5/5 for the episode, 7/10 for the series. |

| Out of breath out of mind, for this last episode I let my mind be enveloped into the journey Houtarou ended up taking with Chitanda. I've loved this series since the first episode and these last 2 seasons only gained from having this show be on the line up. Anyways talking about this episode... I was curious what Hyouka would do for the final episode and like I guessed, I would never suspect a doll march (especially since I have little knowledge of japanese culture). Anyways, I liked the focus on Oreki, I relate to him really well, and even tho the Empress, mayaka, and satoshi got small parts in the episode I was ok with that. I like Oreki that much lol. But the ending as I saw the cherry blossoms bloom and Oreki's troll line of being the business side of Chitanda's business made me lose a breath and be stunned by the final moment of this great series. 9/10 ^.^ sry if I sound weird lol, its just one of those series XD |

| Nice ending to a great series. I liked that open end. It was very Hyouka-like. The characters were charismatic and fascinating. I'll give Oreki credit for being the best main-character this year, so far. Also loved the mysteries, that always reminded me of the PCP-concept from Bakuman, just in a way more interesting way. So, even though I liked the ending, I definetely wouldn't say no to a second season. 8/10 |

| I liked the fact that they didn't shove romance between Houtarou and Chitanda down our throats but I do wish Hontaru did actually somewhat propose to her. It was a simple cute ep and I liked the anime overall. |

The detective part of this series is one of the best in many detective anime.The case in the series is small and it is not considered as a case,but the process of "what they think,how they reach conclusion(the answer)" is very clear in the series,which can encourage us,the viewers to start thinking since we got the idea.Unlike most of those classic mystery,the cases in Hyouka is everyday mysteries in our daily life,which will let us feel closer to the series since it is realistic.By using the rich character and the stunning animation and rich characters, those seems normal everyday mystery become far fetch,good mystery that let our imagination run wild.So,that is why I hyped about this series... |

| HORY SHET WAIT THAT REALLY WAS THE LAST EPISODE?! NO BANG HUH. Damn, I was fangirling like crazy when Oreki pretty much proposed to her, BUT OF COURSE HYOUKA WON'T GIVE US THAT SATISFACTION. I love this series, but I am NOT satisfied. I need it to be more tied up, even if this is left to the viewers' imagination. How about SatoshixMayaka? And Oreki's sister? Why did Chitanda pause when she saw her at the fair? Was it just a pause and nothing else? I need a season two or I'll die of curiosity. Oh. Holy. THEY LEFT US CURIOUS. OH. GAWD. I AM JUST, I CANNOT TypE RiGHt NoW. Review is coming up shortly... |

| A fizzled ending led to an even bigger disappointment when Oreki didn't actually say anything to Chitanda. This series could've been so much more, but instead we were fed one too many mundane "mysteries" and a shoddy light romance that barely resolved itself. 7/10 |

I pretty much agree with this, the character developments in Hyouka are somewhat the most interesting things to think about, when Eru tell Oreki about her intention, what's her plan for the future, she means "what will life look like if you want to stay with me", she's very mature I think, as a head daughter of the family, she's being serious. And, looks like Orei wasn't mature enough to give her a proper answer, although he did think about it. The ending was pretty Hyouka, I like it, Kyo Ani is famous with dramatic moments, romance feelings, but these were somewhat left out in Hyouka, I'd say it was their intention of doing so. Mystery, high school life, light hearted romantic feelings still linger in my head ... |

I had heard that the light novel series was complete at 5 novels, As for the future of Hyouka, the anime, my bet would be on a movie, since there is gold in them there frames, and they will want to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak! Bring out volume 5's story as a movie, hopefully with a feel-good romantic ending, then pick up the series again in a few years when the author has written more. (Since it took him nearly 10 years to write the first five volumes (first volume published in 2001, 5th published in 2010), I don't look for him to start producing a ton of material soon. |
