It's one thing that she is supposed to be an arsehole due to her (badly written) past, and that's all fine and dandy since the show is clearly trying to do a cliched character development on her, but this episode along with ep. 3 did a horrible job at presenting her stubborness when it comes to socialisation and accepting her weakness. All the other episodes managed to display her as a (sort of realistic) arsehole without going overboard, but ep.3/8 went way too far in the attempt to make her look much worse than she actually is, and I personally laughed when she shouted that "I won't give a shit to you!" crap when Ranmaru was on the verge of dying, that scene was the very definition of forced drama and twisted character presentation for the sake of cheap drama. Along with the overdramatic childhood flashback that could've worked much better with less yandere factor, and if that girl would've been Ichiko's FIRST and ONLY friend. Not that it matters anyway, as Ichiko's character will propably be reseted again like always up to this point, and she will behave towards Ranmaru the same way she did so far... |

This is turning out to actually be a pretty good series. I'm glad. Sakura is slowly growing on me, too. Same goes for everyone else. Really looking forward to the next episode!  |

Great episode, although the flashback was obviously quick, so it was really disappointing. Also, the end was pretty dramatic, but she finally has a friend, so it wasn't meaningless. Anyway, funny as always. 5/5 Edit: I also forget to look for that one character every single week..  |

Hey, anime, you know that attempted rape bullshit you always pull? Stop it. This is a god damn comedy. Do bullies in Japan actually threaten rape when they want to pick on someone? Christ... Ehhh...that's beside the point. Thing is, you can't brush something off like rape, and simply go back to comedy hijinks. It's stupid, and pathetic. Why didn't they have the bullies beat her up or something? That would have worked better. This seems to be a continuing trend, unfortunately. Muv-Luv: True Eclipse did the same exact thing in episode 8. True Eclipse isn't a comedy, but it was still ridiculous. A low point for this show.  |

Oh man this episode was awesome, love the character development. Ichiko had a crap childhood being friends with Kurumi. They both liked Yusuke and Kurumi ended up being jealous since Yusuke liked Ichiko. Betraying Ichiko and deceiving Yusuke. Explains why Ichiko never gets close to people and acts all aggressive. So saddening to watch. Also Kurumi is voiced by Rie Kugimiya, queen of tsundere right? xD That scene with Icihiko thinking 'I've had enough of this' and said "I said, I don't want a cheap toy like that!" was the turning point of Ichiko's behaviour and attitude towards people. Rindou is such an awesome character. Helping out Ichiko, a true friend! Love her 'entrance' theme and how she's great at martial arts. That trauma stethoscope was a great item but it's got cat ears lmao, fan serviceeee! :D Loved it how Momiji actually 'helped' out Ichiko and didn't cause any more trouble. Favourite episode so far. <3  |
