The team going to the docks was text book ambush 101 in an insurgent's handbook. The Major in all her years in combat should've known that. She seemed pretty pre-occupied by something and somehow affected her decision making.

Anyway, a good episode. Nice to see S9 get kicked in the butt once in a while.

Cool episode. Seeing the major the way she was in this one was a little upsetting. She's not supposed to be able to screw up.

I think he's the origami kid, too!
Major was not at the top of her game this time. Nice to see that she's still capable of making mistakes even though she's not exactly human.
Kuze doesn't seem to be a villain. I like that!

That was some pretty good development, Motoko screwed up and she also pretty much confirmed Kuze is the boy from the past.

woah Kuze seems to be good since Motoko barley manage to hack him.

plus fooling her with the identical indentation ships and place???

not to mention making Major scared and and not in her 100% status just shows you how damn good kuze is.

but how the hell did Kuze manage to meet up with the refugee if he's not there??

he probably hack to their networks and appeared before them.

seeing Batou angry is just scary .___,

and yeah Motoko usually doesn't make mistakes, but it just goes to show you that not everyone is perfect :P

sad the rooike(Yano) died too early :(

all in all love the music and twist in the end.

7 more episodes to go!!!!!!!

cannot wait to finish this and watch the movie(Individual Eleven and Solid State Society)

Aww, Major screwed up D=. Origami kid is too crafty! They need laughing man to take care of this. He would have solved the case 10 episodes ago.

The Major failed on that one. She got fooled hard.

So Kuze defended them to fight, but they still assaulted them. He look more like a pacifist, but then why trying to kill the president? Or was he?

I wonder what he plan to do with that plutonium. Bargain with the government?

Makoto said she know him, I guess it's reliated to the nostalgic ''flashback'' she had in the episode 11.

Well to be honest, we don't know much about the kid expect three thing :

- He knows Makoto.
- He make origami crane.
- He is completely cybernetic.

And the only clue that reliate to him is that Makoto said she know him and that he is completely cybernetic, but those two facts can reliate to a lot of people in GIS universe. There is also the scene where Kuze is driving and he have that origami crane hanging in the car, but you have to see it and honestly, I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't from the forum...

I had been thinking for a while that Kuze was the origami boy ever since they divulged his past in the military. Now that the Major says she thinks she knows him, it's all but confirmed. The Major making such an easy mistake was shocking but also surprisingly human. She can still get caught up in emotional conflicts, despite being so normally strong. I think this shows how she's still a bit lost herself, but absorbs herself in the job to bury any uncertainties she has. Overall, great episode.

That the odd man is the one who pulls the strings behind the scenes? Whole appearance that of Kuze, or his moves are dictated by his own ego? Intriguing plot, great! Narration terribly addictive, high-impact, thanks also to the great soundtrack.
Drawing a little bit, this is the only flaw.
Many questions about Kuze accumulate, those are all true account of Motoko or are just coincidences.

lol. There's even a paper crane hanging from the rearview mirror in the truck Kuze is driving, the first episode we see him in. There's even more of that and other hints scattered throughout the other episodes. People don't pay attention to foreshadowing or anything.

More hints pointing at Kuze's true identity. Pretty sure this is the first time we've seen one S9's raids fail this horribly. Sure there was the mission to secure that Iwakurusu dude back in the 1st season but they at least managed to get rid of some body armor units that time.

Not sure what to think about this episode. After being stuck in godmode for so long, not only Motoko screws up, but she does it quite spectacularly. Is there no room for a middle ground?

It's sort of understandable that Batou would be upset over the death of a co-worker, but it seemed like a low blow to blame it all on her.

It was unnerving to see Motoko schooled like that, up until now she has always seemed invincible.
Batou was scary there for a moment, I guess he's blunt with everyone, yet I find him almost impossible not to like regardless.

Craziness. I actually blame her crew (looking at you Ishikawa) for not stepping in and callong the op off. The Major was clearly off, she was basically blinded by touching Kuze's mind like that. She even said "it's just a delusion." Had the roles been reversed she would've had the infected member sit out the op. C'mon man.
That was quite a trap though.

Well I like that The Major makes grave mistakes like this, sometimes she can get too Mary Sue-ish for my taste. Oh no Major! I think that maybe she wanted to see her first crush so badly she got anxious and then boom. If she says she knows him, it must be the kid of the other episode, I don't know any other male characters we have met from the Major's past.

How the hell were people still not sure who this dude is? Or even just starting to recognize? They were hinting at it many, many episodes ago, that it's the origami kid from her past, and it's only gotten even more obvious. Like, is post #2 serious? The foreshadowing isn't even that subtle lol, if it's not the kid, it better some incredible twist, or else I'm calling BS.
