anyway rant again, although the pacing was decent but due to the rearranging of events they made a huge continuity blunder when the classmate gossip about his relationship with his harem, i mean seriously they could have just follow the original timeline with the battle first and ending at a cliffhanger with yuri getting info about goudou, but no they have to introduce as many female cast as fast as possible. (dumb asses)

Right when you said that I can't agree more.. Guy starts off normal suddenly gets some crazy ass powers and all of a sudden a harem of girls begin to surround him. With action of course.

Not that I'm saying Campione! will follow the same route but the way it is rushing it seriously may end that way. I think we were possibly introduced to another two of his harem members in this episode. The action scenes are great but if it continues this pacing and from what people are saying putting events in the wrong order? It could turn into a shitstorm.

Digging it so far though besides those things.

That's not really the problem I have with it. Moreover how they will present that to us. A lot of harem animes do that and a lot of them fail at it kind of like Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. Could have had the potential to been something better but ended up falling short.

It's still to early to see how exactly they will do these events so I can't say anything yet. That's why I'm hoping that they'll ease the pacing a bit so it won't be rushed into following the same pattern so many other harems have. I've got hope for Campione! though. Just have to wait and see how it progresses.

Exactly. That's kind of what I fear for. Having a decent start but ending in a train wreck. In this case though what seems to be problem is a lot of material needs to be covered in 13 episodes. I bet if it was 24 episodes it would be fine or maybe if they split it off into two 12-13 episode seasons. It looks like though they intend on rushing it and trying to squeeze all the material into 13 episodes. Some have been able to pull it off but I wonder if they will be able to do it with Campione!

This episode was OK, I guess... Though I was somewhat surprised that Erica already fell for Godou, it's only the second episode. Kana Hanazawa made her appearance, that's a plus. Godou's duel with Erica was awesome, too. I love how fights in this anime are very well-animated, and those raging colours also are great. So far I can't like any other girl beside Erica, they seem... boring. But there's a lot of them depicted in the ending, so I hope to see a lot of exciting duels with great characters.

We have one loli Pandora introduced, we'll find out more about her in short time, then we have a mysterious goddess and two more girls that we know for sure will enter his Harem. What's the problem?

1. even the author isn't consistent with the chants (if i remember correctly the boar has 3 diffrent variation and the bull has two.)

no. no you will not since pandora appearance in the novel are limited (4 brief scene and 1 passing mention if not mistaken in 12 novel to date)

oh and yeah there will be a beach ep.

and as for this being a 1 cour i would like to know your source

i highly doubt it since hikari was in the ED it would most likely be 2 cour with it ending at the end of the 1st major arc and a glimps in to the holy grail arc.

For those of you who thought that the show was rushed, the truth is that the scenes from ep 1 doesn't actually happen in volume 1, it's from volume 3( a fairly boring and tedious volume). Chronologically speaking, the volumes are arranged as such:3,11(what happened during the week after Godou became a campione),1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12.
