| I do love MAL and its stream of people claiming they have superior taste and what to like and dislike. Never change MAL... orz for not realizing that it was Ueda Kana voicing AC. The fights were a bit fast though. It was still good I guess. No need to drag this sidestory for long. Finally, volume 2 now. This should be good. |

At this point you can break something down to it's lowest common denominator and it becomes unorignal. Let's look at it on a little broader scale. We have an overweight protagonist(Now this is rare) who is fighting battles in a cyber world gang war and has a female childhood friend who already has a boyfriend. Hell looking at it from that point it already has more originality than Eureka seven AO. A story being slow isn't necessarily a bad point. But compared to other slow shows this can be considered quite speedy. Also these are practically copied and pasted from a light novel. So as for it's true pace you would be watching six episodes at once. I see no problems with the animation. Plenty of movement, looks decent and for once we have actual animated mecha. Christ how long has it been since we have seen an animated mecha instead of a giant pile of CG? This is cannon fodder complaints mate. This is the same as typing in a youtube comment saying "It's shit because it is" and that is an utterly worthless comment. If you want to be taken seriously then you got to back up your comments with logic. If I had to point out the biggest flaws with Accel world it would be the infodumping. It literately is fired out with no effort to make it work in anime format. Take some lessons from UFOtable and KyoAni Sunrise. Don't just have you character perform a staring contest and spout out exposition. Have them do things. Hell you have them connected by a neural network there's plenty of room for some experimental visuals with using it to illustrate their conversations and make them more interesting. Even in battle there should be more fighting going on. Nobody said you can't talk and fight at the same time. There is a butchering of Haru's character as well. True he whined a lot in the beginning and his art style probably makes it hard for people to take him seriously. But when I was reading the novel he came across as being an actual intelligent shounen lead. Good god those are in short supply. However in the anime he comes across as idiotic and naive. I blame this mostly on the voice actor and the presentation of his lines. Haru should have a calmer voice. Especially when playing brain burst. However the worst thing is that the action scenes don't have the impact they had in the novel. This is difficult to show in anime but I was expecting the fights to have the same feel as Gurren Lagann. That way the presentation of these corny speeches would come off as epic if said in a Gurren Lagann manner. |

| Oh! shit.... As I thought Kuroyuki and Taku are fighting for some cliche reasons...... And Haru immediately believing in a complete stranger..... and being all too cheesy as ever.... WTF with that memory deletion...... So neuro-linker can also modify brain..... Isn't that a serious flaw in neuro-linker.... Anyway I'm only watching this for Awesomely animated fight scenes...... 3/5 |

| Taku looks pretty boss with those glasses. They suit him too well. The memory erasure was pretty lame. Feels like most of the episode's progress was just reversed. Some loli next episode. | Well that was stupid. She just wiped his memory! Karen was cute. Hopefully they'll meet again. :( Great fights and good thing Kuroyuki talked some sense into Taku. He really was being selfish. So he joined their school and started wearing glasses even though you shouldn't need them in that day and age. Curious what's going to happen next! Looks like more fights and a yet another girl interested in Haru. The bastard... Aslo; I absolutely love the design of Black Lotus. The feminine form with the black and purple colors looks awesome. |

| Kinda sucked. But was such a bland episode that it's wasn't worth getting very irritated over. It's bad enough that Haru is a whiny, little pig. And a crybaby pig. And a self-loathing, self-absorbed, disgusting piece of crap. (I should have asked Seraphim to provide the description of him :). And that his seiyuu plays the role in as irritating a manner as I can imagine. But now there are two whiny, wretched creatures who are constantly in need of a spine, that's only provided by whichever female happens to be nearby. This despite their having real talents. While these two cretins have essentially been cretins for a while, it felt like this episode was 20 minutes of mewling and self-abuse. Lurching back and forth between the two 'battles' didn't help. That the higher level characters weren't interesting opponents only compounded the weakness of the episode. As an aside, and unlike my previous points, these aren't complaints, if the twin-tailed sprite is so pure, why is she green? She looked more like sea water than pure water. Secondly, isn't Haru's special attack a head butt? Why is he relying on a flying drop kick? |

Yeah, the kick was pretty much the best thing, the fight seemed better in the manga but Taku vs. Kuroyuki was new time, so that was a win. I have to admit that some of the dialogue is cliché and twisted bullshit but I see a lot of potential in this and that's what keeps me reading and watching it, you just have to bear with those issues for the time being, nothing is perfect. I'm really looking forward to the next episode, the scanlated manga stuff has been covered by now and I have no idea what's going to happen but I just hope for really awesome battles and more of Kuroyuki. |

| Great episode. I thought they're going to make the battle with Sand/Nickel into 2 episodes. Seems crunched, putting that into a single episode AND Cyan Pile vs Black Lotus' battle too. The ending scene is just so heart-warming though, it's good. :) |
| 3/5 It's just OK. I'm just disappointed with Aqua because I thought she's going to be a bad-ass fighter beating the crap out of higher level players. Like someone having a noob account in an FPS multiplayer but dominating anyone that has a higher rank. I also think Taku suits Hime and Haru ending up with Chiyu is better. |

| Dunno about you guys, but there's like no incentive to level up rather than for reputation and some level up bonuses. I'd keep all my points just in case and stay at Level 1, so I could Burst Link more with no worries and risk less points. |

Well, leveling up increases your stats too, and as in any RPG, better stat = better chance of winning battles. Example is when Silver Crow fought Cyan Pile. Silver Crow was supposed to be resistant to amputation and piercing attacks, yet he still got damaged severely by Cyan Pile's attacks due to the level difference. Also, there's the point of playing the game itself. Your saying is akin to the 9 kings decided to play it safe and stick with level 9, versus Kuroyukihime's desire to reach level 10. |

| Aqua Current's real bonus payment seems to be the vast amount of information she learns about other Burst Linkers' techniques and her clients' identities. Even if she didn't really take her clients' points, she's still got a big bonus with her one-sided gain on information by simply erasing their memories of her. I also wonder if Aqua Current was actually a former member of Black Lotus's old Legion... It seems Black Lotus gave Cyan Pile a big dressing down right there. Taku got TOLD. Well, at least he's on the right track now. And in a twist, he transfers to Haru, Chiyu and Kuroyukihime's school. "Keep your friends close..." I see they're also really plugging those ads for Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei... are those signs for an upcoming anime for that soon? |
| Liked the tag fight, was nice to not have girls fawning over porky for once. the new girl was pretty cool, but I hate memory erasure plots. it has to be brought back up or why introduce her. |

| I must be the only person who found this episode pretty lame. We had quite a bit of drama and exposition over the last couple chapters, but then something happened to the pacing in this episode. Maybe its just that I took too long of a break between the last episode and this one, but it came across as pretty terrible. The tag match reminded of everything I hate about shows like Naruto and Bleach: people shouting out moves, trusting in each other, friendship, etc. It gets old. I thought this would be more like Guilty Crown where it just keeps getting more twisted and dark, but nope. Story doesn't seem all that interesting anymore. Hopefully it's just a fluke, but I hope this isn't the end of my enjoyment of the series. It started out so good. |
