| I love how the hunter exam is still technically ongoing and how each main character discovers nen in this arc. It's so brilliant. |

You expected him to win that fight? He just freaking learned one aspect of Nen and barely at that. And, Kurapika....just Kurapika. I love where this series takes him. |

Chakra is said for the power inside the body and aura for outside. so aura is ok |

Gon may have lost his match but it seems he's gained something far more valuable. I also like how they treat severe injuries appropriately in this series, where people don't get magical plot regenerative abilities to pretend it never happened. |

| man gon really needs to work on his bull-headedness. i understand being eager about awakened powers but its pure idiotic to just rush into battle like that, and he obviously hasn't learned a lesson/matured from it also that stranger randomly offering to teach kurapika needs some explanation |

At first I was peeved at the cliché of him and the other two discovering Nen around the same time like a checklist, but the hints are there that this isn't a coincidence -- surviving your first year as a "Hunter" (or protecting your license from theft) might be the true passing test, and anyone with Nen is out for new blood to slurp. |

| Gon certainly learned how to use ren quite quickly. Wing recognized gon’s potential and development as being someone to be able to master such abilities steadily. Very subtle hint towards some major foreshadowing, though only manga readers would be able to catch it. Damn the animation in this fight is just really fluid. I took a look back at the old series to see the difference and this new show is just on a whole new level. We see kurapica again coming to the realization that he can’t push forward until he has learned nen as well. Someone else suddenly halts him. If I hadn't known better, I would say this is all all been orchestrated behind the scenes. Wing suddenly appears, teaching gon and killua and now this random guy approaching kuripica. You think it’s just a coincidence? I think not. |

Man... Gon was foolish to immediately fight like that. He's missing out on valuable training time with Wing-Sensei. But I'm sure he and Killua will master Ten in the meantime. |

| It bugs me when a series introduces a new super secret power, then suddenly everybody knows it and if you don't then you're trash. One piece did the same thing with haki, everybody was doing fine without it, then suddenly it's introduced and now anybody who can't use it is a scrub.They could at least let it remain mysterious and powerful for a little while longer, rather than immediately becoming a prerequisite for basic hunter work. |

Nah but they're implying that it has been used all along, the MCs just didn't know what it was called. For example, Gon used it to hide from Hisoka, and Killua's brother had used it on him. | I believed this show would be about hunters. Capturing animal or protecting them, bounty hunters, treasures, exploring caves and ruins, etc. However, it looks like it will be based on this Nen martial art thing. Hmm... I think I won't like it too much. |

I love mischievous neko Killua <3333 xD So cute when he was lecturing Gon :') they're like brothers -^.^- I feel a little bad for Zushi. Wing's focus and excitement has shifted towards Gon and Killua bc of their monstrous potential >< Hisoka has trouble restraining himself too ^^' Can't wait for the upgraded Kurapika either! :D |

| Gon's presence-erasing technique was actually a form of Nen he did without even realizing it, wow! Watching him dodge all those tops for that long with his eyes closed was amazing. Kurapika's found out about mastering Nen being the real last part of the Hunter Exam and a fellow Hunter volunteered to teach him how to learn how to fight like he does. |

| Great episode, Kurapika is back into the scene. Our boys are learning to use Nne, I wonder about Leorio though. |
