| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Childhood friend's turn. She's not good at waking up. Summer classes time. Still no progress on her love with the guy, who is still watching ero things with his friend. The guy being summer sick, and teasing her for being fat again. They went to empty nurse room. lol @ the guy being ero even in 5th grade. The guy's not eating properly because the parents are gone for caring the relative is sick. She meets her sempais while going on shopping, and eating what they sell. lol @ giving her alive eel for joking and giving suggestions. They are in tennis club now. That guy in the class that wants girlfriends confessed to childhood friend, just because she looked sexy. She told him he likes the guy. |

Lovely episode. It was a bliss just seeing Rihoko's face when she wakes up. Before it eludes kudos to the following, for saying "Nanpa" and it involves a sexual meaning directly. Suffice to say he is a damn playboy. I love his face since it reminds me of him: http://myanimelist.net/character/7328/Tsutomu_Rokutanda among perhaps other characters. Nice face design. More later. |
| The first half was alright, funny how Junichi was already having perverted thoughts when he was young, haha. But interesting turn of events in the second half. I wonder how Junichi is gonna interpret seeing Rihoko with another guy. We seen last episode how Ayatsuji-san reacted when Junichi was with another girl, now lets see when the tables are turned. Ahh! It was great to see Ruriko, and Manaka again, I love those two, lol. Gonna watched this again when the subs are out :) 4/5 |

| So after all this time i am surprised that this episode played out the way it did. After all i feel like this season is to make up for her being the only unsuccessful arc in the whole series. I guess they got their laugh last season actually making nothing happen, but they should give this gal a successful ending next episode. |

| I can't believe this. A random classmate confesses to her when she's on her way to Junichi's?! That Makabe is a playboy, confessing to Rihoko because she looks sexy in that dress and of course Rihoko is to naive to notice. Things like this really frustrate me. Blargh. >_< Anyway at least she turned him down and told him she likes Junichi. I wonder if Junichi actually heard, or did that train prevent him to as well? I think we will be seeing more of that Makabe too and if so, it's up to Junichi to take responsibility. Will she get a proper ending this time around? I hope so, but I think she won't. =( |

| so not much changed, Junichi is still pervy (even as a kid), Rihoko still really loves food, and can't lose weight. so um progress finally yay. I like Rihoko. it seems somewhat of a natural but slow progressing relationship. she does need some progress though. |

| Enjoyable episode; no where near as good as Tsukasa arc but to expect that would be unreasonable; so with what i expected I'd actually say that it was better (so far) than last season's Rihoko arc... but really friend zone is so hard to break that i honestly wouldn't be surprised if they don't end up together all though i gotta say i hope that they do this time around; even if its forced a bit i would rather that this season give good conclusions to all the arcs, Rihoko included. | While it's frustrating from a viewer standpoint, I think there's a legitimate point to be made about how dang hard it is to break out of the friend zone. Makabe's comment about love being spontaneous is supposed to serve as the antithesis to the whole point of Rihoko's arc, which is that love sometimes takes a while to really develop. Regardless of whether Junichi heard her or not, he definitely saw it which should trigger some sort of protective instinct, romantic or otherwise. I also hope each arc doesn't just follow the "random douche threatens relationship, the two of them overcome it and mature" formula. I mean, it's not bad but it'll be kinda glaring if they're all like that. |

| I really hope this ends conclusively, Rihoko deserves that much. She is my favourite of the girls yet her plot got dragged through the gutter...I really really hope the next episode saves it and they finally get together. Lol at the chibi versions though, nice to see =) |

| was a pretty boring episode, but it was the same in the 1st season with Rihoko's arc. im really curious if they go for a couple ending or at least a kiss or if they'll still be grounded in the friendzone. either way, im looking forward to the development in the next episode. And then hopefully it's Nanasaki Ai's or Morishima Haruka's turn since they started the new season with my favorite :3 |

Nanpa is just a guy that uses the tactic of hitting on many girls so he can get a few. Is based on the theory that about every 10 girls 1 will accept your proposal. In the places i lived is quite a normal thing. If the girl has no interest she can simply turn you down and it's ok. | I'd say her ark is a lot more unique than the other girls just because they haven't become a coupe yet. It feels like people are being too hard on that fact. I mean they have been friends for years, its understandable if it takes longer for her to confess then most of the other girls who he had just met. Plus he still has to get out of just seeing her as just a childhood friend. And many people go about that differently. Rihoko is actually one of the most enjoyable girls to me <3 |
