Maybe if Krillin didn't kill off all the saibamen they'd still be killing time. Fkin Krillin. Would've also been easier for Gohan too for a warm up fight.

Gohan what a disappointment that he went back to his whiny self. Tenshinhan dead was another waste but I think it served as purpose for Gohan to see the strong will he had until the very end.

I dont like the aspect that Vegeta orders 3 hours pause. Makes no sense to me and I felt at that point the show went a bit too much around Goku. Yes, he is the main star of the series but it was a bit over the top and Piccolo also should be stronger than what was shown. He had 0 chance vs Nappa but should be stronger by now shouldnt he. So they all wait for the hero Goku...

i forgot how intense this series got, tien chaozu and yamucha died all the while a 5 year old is expected to contribute something to defeating the behemoths who killed them.

While I am sure it was very much disappointing that Gohan got cold feet and ran away, it is understandable. Gohan, for all his training, never had witnessed the death and destruction of a human being in person. For a small child like him, it was just too much. If anything, he certainly needs the necessary motivation to power up and interlope into the fight. Considering that Piccolo's death is, unfortunately, approaching according to Kami, maybe that is the switch on? I have to say, though, Krillin's and Piccolo's teamwork is quite impressive. Especially Piccolo's sharp mind that picks up even the slightest of hints related to the situation at hand. I admire that. Still, Tien is now dead. That last desperate attack of his truly set Nappa on the edge. May he meet with his best cinnamon roll best bud, Chiaotzu, in the afterlife.

A 3-hour break? For some odd reason, I don't think Goku will arrive in time in accordance with that duration...

This battle is seriously deadly... Of course, Gohan is too scared of confronting a saiyan just like that. He is just a child, and after seeing what they are capable of doing - killing his friends just like that, there is no way he would even dare. Piccolo is foreshadowing that they will all die. I wonder then, will they be revived later on? If that is the case, I question just how.
