It is not. I came to this conclusion around the ep. 18. There are clues which leads us to believe something like that might happen, but it's now that it's 100% certain.

1. Episode 1: Suzuha. Take a good look at her.
2. John Titor's predictions (the real one).

this episode may seem a bit rushed to people b/c it is.
well if you are comparing it to the visual novel that is.
Its a given that the visual novel will always be better when it comes to details and certain subplots that will ultimately be omitted especially in a 24 episode anime. Nevertheless I've played the visual novel and watched the anime and I've enjoyed them both.

If they did not condense it, it wouldn't be possible to end it in 24 episodes UNLESS you guys wanted the shitty unhappy ending :).

Thats all I have to say.

Kurisu... Fuck, my heart broke when Okabe couldn't hear her full confession.

kiss was the best scene! kinda broke my heart seeing the part where she rushed in to to her feelings. whatever if it goes like the visual novel ima be the happiest person alive

Wow, bomshell episode. I found that I liked the kiss scene, it was well played IMO. I`m curious to find out how Okarin solves this whole WWIII issue and save Kurisu in 2 episodes!

At first I cried.
Then... I cried some more.
Then I smiled when they kissed.
Then I cried... even more.
And more...
And more...
I seriously lost it when Okabe went nuts after he couldn't hear Kurisus confession.

Then, at the silent end... WWIII. I WTF'D LIKE NEVER BEFORE.


This anime is a beast. One of the best I've ever seen. I never cried so fucking much in an Anime. Ever.

Motherfucking best episode of the year. That's what a time-travelling series should be alll about : causes and consequences.

I am surprised no one posted this but Makise fan service in the spoilerwas nice. I bet the VN people never though it would get that hot. Well it did for me.

BTW is that a black bra?YES! FINALLY! All is good!Yeah Holy shit! WTF is going on? I am not familiar with this from the VN. Suzuha? Really? I though she was long gone.

Well I think the whole WWIII and the Kurisu are two things in one.

First of all, episode blew me away! I had every emotion I could have, crying, happynes and wtf'ness... but it gave me a theory...

Kurisu was murdered by Suzuha. Why? Suzuha mentioned Kurisu was working with SERN in her time. Probably SERN recruited Kurisu after her presentation she gave in the first episode. Or shortly after that. The conclusion is, that Kurisu did the same thing. Helped making a time machine. But not for Okabe no, this time she helped SERN making it and they ruled the world after that with it.

To stop this Suzuha killed her in this timeline to prevent all of that happening. BUT, why does Suzuha call Okabe this time?

Probably cause the divergence timeline is a litte different than the previous one, and that the Suzuha of now remembers the Okabe of the previous one. Saying the whole story to him and wanting to kill Kurisu for it.

Luckily for us, Kurisu felt in love with Okabe and so probably when she sees him she falls in love with him again goes with him and live happily ever after :D. ..

Well last part is just hope, the other things I am sure is right.. or has a chance to be right. Tbf I hope it isn't right so it can mindblow me again xD.

i cant wait to see how they at least try to save Kurisu in the next episode, this is going to be a loooooooooong week ;_;

Awesome episode, just f*cking awesome.

This is by far one of the best anime of the year. This just got into my top 10.
I can't wait to see next week's episode.

AND I KNEW IT, THERE IS SOMETHING UP WITH SUZUHA'S FIRST COMING IN THE VERY FIRST EP!

i don't think that's perverted, i think is the right thing to do.

The words "boss", "pimp", and "BAMF" don't even begin to describe Okabe.

This episode destroyed all support I had for any other pairing.
