9- Great - Inspiring, almost 10 if not for some stupid flaw/s (by personal perspective obv)
8- Very Good - enjoyed them, even if not very deep for me
7- Good - Aquired taste - they lack on many sides, but by some they may be considered awesome
6- Fine - didn't liked them much, probably would deserve a lower vote, they got 6 only cause a little spark of interest in them
5- Average - pretty sure they are universally bad, nothing exticing/interesting happening
x- Mixed - some votes instead are a mix of more votes, since some series may have been really good at the start then slowly fell apart, there isn't really a way to recognize those series from the other by votes alone, i've now added a mixed tag to them
a mixed rated serie would normally get an higher rate if it wasn't for the thing i didn't like of them lowering their otherwise higher score
how do i vote/rate/find new series
if someone is wondering why i score so high, it's because when i vote i (very often) only think about personal enjoyment, and anything which would get less than 6 i've dropped it and forgotten about it already, and i don't really care to go search for things a don't care only to give them a bad vote
also, i've a precise method(more effective than precise :P) to find new mangas i might like, so it's only rarely something i've started to read turns out being bad, usually i notice i don't like it in the first chapters, and drop them there
the only ones who can get a bad vote from me are: the ones dragged out too long, the ones losing creativity on the way, ones with a good/decent start but an horrible/bad developing
to find new mangas i usually filter them by genre, done so i order them by rating, then work my way down while looking at them

since there is only a short description and a cover i usually end up getting interested in a manga by one of its covers xD
and so far it hasn't failed me much, cause a cover maybe shows the effort and dedication an author had for their serie, so a well done cover has been for me many times a sign of a manga which needs further investigation
then i often just go to pick the latest chapter for that serie, or a random chapter in the middle of it, and give it a glance, if it looks interesting, so far from the opening, then that's a good sign of the serie being solid
that's usually enouth for me to start actively reading a serie, or if i'm already too busy, adding it to my plan to read list

I have begun to see the mary sue hate a bit more often now. I don't have a problem with them myself. It does feel a bit annoying seeing every episode discussions filled with Medaka hate when the anime have her name in the title, lol.
You're right I agree for the Mahou Shoujos it's definitely a good thing because they can be free from their burden of becoming a witch. But I think that there seems to be many more witches in this new system compared to before. It seems like everytime we see one there are many more standing with it... they're never alone anymore in this world. I think it's a much more dangerous world for both Mahou Shoujos and regular humans to live in with so many of them. But in the end there had to be a price for the wish and that was the price... It was a good and fair ending that stayed true to the anime. :)
