Decent ending, what I expected, the love thing is a little uncomfortable for my taste, but otherwise good series.

And for the love of god, can some of you please use some fucking spoiler tags? Not everyone has seen the ending for Dog Days yet........jesus

Decent anime - really wasn't anything special but I did enjoy it, to some degree. Astarotte's mom was epic tier milf.

So Naoya is really in love with Lotte? That's a bit of a surprise ^^ Anyway, with that ending, a second season is possible, i hope they'll make it :)

Meh and a rather anticlimatic ending. Nonetheless, the series as a whole was very enjoyable, so 8/10 for me.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

Nice little series. Have the OVA to look forward to and then a possible season 2 since Lotte had the real marks on her back.

It would be a rather bad way to end it if it only gets 1 season. It makes it seem like Lotte & Naoya fall in love without Lotte knowing she has a half-sister & that Naoya slept with the queen before Lotte was born.

I am puzzled why they went from not being able to hear each other last episode to hearing each other right before they left the creature realm. Seems like something needed an explanation that never got one.

I'm guessing the OVA will make up for the censored fanservice throughout the season.

Probably due to Asuha sharing some of Naoya's genes, which saw her as a contamination too.

As for why not when she was 3-years old? The Queen never said the exact reason why she had Asuha live with Naoya. Naoya assumed it was due to the Queen's sisters killing each other and she didn't want that to happen to Lotte & Asuha. So maybe World Tree was trying to reject her then too?

I forgot that they shouldn't have been able to talk to eachother. That is kind of a plot hole. They were definitely having a conversation right?

Anyways, I really liked this show. 8/10

This would only be relevant if he had lingering feelings for her, which he doesn't. He "loves" her for giving her Asuha, but he doesn't love her in that kind of way. It's of course hinted that Queen does have a preference of Naoya over other men.

They couldn't hear each other during the whole date... that is why she cried the way she did, and probably that is why she didn't kiss him. It implies they connect and could undersood their emotions/feelings and jadi jadi jada, all the squishy smushi stuff. That is why at the end he didn't told her "I Love You" from the get go, but a lame "I'm Back"

It is my theory *House Face* that the tree got unstable because of Lotte's unresolved feelings on proximity to her coming to age ritual. This would explain also why the Queen was able to go to the human realm (remember at the beginning this was suppose to be impossible) when she was as well "confuse" and felt better after raping a poor 12 y/o boy (j/k... maybe)

Just wondering, I'm aware this is base on a manga, but how ahead is the manga from the story, is there really something else after this rather than cute character doing cute things? I really enjoy this anime because it tackled some rather awkward topics in a interesting and fun way, but besides them getting it on, and Lotte's finding out about Asuha's secret there is not much story i see for a season 2 =

The mark happened about 3 times I think. Either way, Judit's punishment was funny.
Since the succubus mark appeared, does that mean there won't be a second season? Since the atmosphere of the show will change completely if Astarotte grows up. (I do hope there is a second season though)

Ending a bit too awkward for my taste and it seems like the show was changed around a bit like the anime for fortune arterial. The manga seems a bit different though only has been subbed to chapter 20 but so far haven't seen much of a romance between Naoya and Lotte more like a father-daughter relationship IMO

I do agree with this. The silence did not stop from the emotional transfer around. Yeah it's also the reason why he said only "I'm back"

Couldn't have asked for better background music in this episode. That theme just kept playing through. Azusa's ending song is probably one of the best this season.

I don't think the creators will make a second season in this fashion, maybe that result will happen at the end of the second season.

I honestly completely forgot they couldn't hear each other until I walked into this topic. I might need to go back and watch it again with that in mind. As it stands, the ending was...meh. "You have to go away! Oh wait you can come back now!". Just felt kind of weak. I will agree though, the mosquito and Judit's punishment were absolutely hilarious!

Overall, for a show about sex demons, Astarotte was a lot cuter than it should have been. It's far from the best anime ever, but it was entertaining and certainly wasn't a waste. I'm glad I stuck with it.

LOL. Same here. Totally forgot that they can't hear each other. O.o

Anyway, the ending was decent although I prefer fatherly love or something.

Naoya, you should have at least talk to the queen. Son, I am disappoint.

The mark at Lotte's back signifies a sequel. I want to know what will happen if Lotte will know everything about Naoya's-Queen's past.

Overall, it wasn't bad but not great either. Guess a 6 or 7 will do. :)

A ending like this was expected and i pretty boring.
Still there are things left unexplained like why did Asuha have to leave as well wasn't she the daughter of the queen and a being of the monster world as well even if it's just half of her?
And then there is the gate it seems like there is a time limit to how much time a being foreign to the monster realm can stay there.
How are they going to deal with that.
And if they can open a gate to the Human world can't they open a gate to others realms as well?

Well all of this was though up and fixed by Ingrid I though. This was a problem before Ingrid made the invention. Now with his invention all is fixed apparently.

The Idolm@ster comes before SNS III, Iori is a Rie tsundere, if you even want to get technical Twin Angel comes before Idolm@ster, Kurumi is a Rie Tsundere.

With the showing of the correct mark for her to get her wings at the end of the show, I find it hard to believe they wouldn't make a second season for this. Unless the show didn't sell well enough for them to profit off of and it turned out to be more of a "just so you know it does end up happening" kind of thing.

I overall liked the ending. A kiss would have made it all the better though.

The show itself was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. My favorite character has to be either Asuha or the prince. I was saddened the prince only had a even slightly major role in two episodes. I hope to see more of him in the second season.

To be honest, I preferred the atmosphere of the first few episodes...sure as heck wasn't expecting Naoya and Lotte to get together, especially since he had a child with her mother O_o I would have really preferred for him to remain a paternal figure to Lotte, and gotten together with the queen (I really liked the episode they reunited in), but pairings never seem to go my way :\

The one thing I liked about this episode was that lulz moment with the mosquito sucking Lotte's blood xD

The ending was also kinda disappointing...no heartwrenching moments, and all they really did in the last episode was confirm there to be a relationship between Lotte and Naoya, when they could've figured out a better way to end the series.

Overall, liked the first few episodes, but kinda dropped off as Naoya was confirmed to be a pedophile. But it could've been worse...7/10.

Technically when was pedophilia ever in hell or a remote world applied? There was none ever. Only earth and the human world have those laws. Should Naoya bring Astarotte to the human realm then he shall get arrested but highly not likely if they find out she is not a human. Then again there may be complications. That's my IMO.

Its not even the age that makes it feel wrong for me, its the way everyone is related. Its bad enough that you are "in love" with your baby mother's OTHER daughter, your DAUGHTER'S younger sister....but then you don't even TELL her that you had sex with her mother and the father of her older sister?

This was just a morally wrong ending imo....

As for Naoya being a Pedo, Lotte's not Human, but HE is. He should know better that ANYTHINHG that looks like a child should be off limits. And she's humanoid, so that makes it even worst.

It would ease the ick if he waits for her to grow up, but the fact he's fucking his daughter's sister is too much for me to accept this relationship.
