Her ratios for speech and thought match mine pretty well. That's part of her charm, too. (You wouldn't believe me if I told you how much I think, dwell and ponder before I post/write anything anywhere.) |

| yayyy firetrucks and wow, they really outdone this episode. shiori's voice and portrayal really works well, and im not even that huge of a fan of her. and it seems like the way they are handling the storyboard really is well thought out (and a bit more chibi + elsee faces and cutesy stuff like thought bubbles. still a possibility that elsee's chibi faces will appear more often in season 2). is it possible that there are different groups/studios that do each arc? just wondering, since i cant read the credits so after the roller coaster ride in kanon, pretty sure many people will enjoy hearing just shiori's voice thinking in her head for 3 or so minutes instead of character songs for 2 more episodes possibly. im not even sure what i wrote was sarcasm or not, let you interpret it. |

| Elsea is to dam cute!! And now i know the fire truck that everyone was talking about, Elcea's obsession was fun to watch. Her knowledge of Japanese history, and the arrival of American ships was also funny to see. The new girl is a perfectionist with a very good mind and is very shy, she doesn't seem that interesting to me. But she is allot better then Kanon. And Poor Keita for not being able to see a girls thought in the real world. |

| This was like Katanagatari, but without the action. Too much inner monologuing for me, girl. OK, so you like books. I get it. You don't have to spend what seemed like an eternity to describe what books can be. Sheesh. Even Hanazawa Kana will get boring as shit if you were forced to listen to her all day long. That being said, the next episodes will most likely result in me stabbing my ears with pens BUT I WILL PERSIST UNTIL THE BITTER END. |

| Guahh!! Finally Shiori's arc!! Damn I'm so weak against book-type girls.. and OMG Hanazawa Kana strikes again, her Shiori voice sounds like a mix between Touko and Kanade!! I'm so dead now!! lol, Firetrucks.. that's so random, oh you silly Elcie.. :D Really love it that you hear what Shiori is thinking that she can't speak out loud.. haha, and that last 'Thankonomics' was the killer!! Damn I can't wait for the next episode, I need to learn how to hibernate or my withdrawal symptoms will just be unbearable.. XD |

| Shiori is by far my fave character. Nice, simple character type, no over the top dipsy-ness or un-needed tsundere-ness. Her trip ups are so simple and cute, and her inner monologues are something I can relate to. Love her, loved her intro ep, going to love this arc. |
| I am increasingly impressed with Keima's handling of different types of girls. Obviously what Shiori needs is someone who will sit there and wait for her to decide what she wants to say, and I was afraid he was going to be all bitchy like with Kanon but he caught her when she fell and just didn't say anything... adorable. The only problem I can see is if the arc gets boring because he is going to win her heart by reading a lot and we get more book filler scenes. |

| Seriously dissappointed at the fact there was no scene of Elcie seeing a live firetruck and make a gif out of it. Oh well, I'll wait for season 2. I seriously got tired at Shiori's inner monologues, they took more than 1/3 of the episode's length. Still, great chapter, and fantastic quotes from Keima and firetruck debut. |
