N.B. My list designs were created for large widescreen resolutions such as 1920x1200 or 1920x1080. They should look fine with smaller ones too (all the way down to 1024x576), but they might appear slightly awkward with some resolutions. I've also tested them with Opera 10, Firefox 3 and Internet Exploder 8 [sic].



I consider (6) "Fine" and (7) "Good" to be average grades for series that do what they're supposed to do. To entertain, mildly impress and make me chuckle, that is.

Higher rated series will have to impress me more, make me laugh or shed tears (the latter is usually easier).

The best of the best are expected to convey powerful emotions, present a compelling plot, introduce memorable characters or make me stand in awe; but then again:

• 1 - Unwatchable: I'd really mean it if I used this one. I do mean it.
  
• 2 - Horrible: I totally despised it for several reasons. See quote above.
  
• 3 - Bad: Simply put: unfunny, dumb, clichéd and/or filled with fanservice.
  
• 4 - Not so good: I didn't really like it. Really boring at times.
  
• 5 - Decent: I kinda liked it, but sorta didn't like it. Nothing spectacular.
  
• 6 - Fine: It was okay and worth watching/reading in my opinion.
  
• 7 - Good: I liked it. Enough said?
  
• 8 - Great: I adored it. Recommendable to anyone with similar tastes.
  
• 9 - Excellent: I truly enjoyed it. Quality or a hidden gem.
  
• 10 - Masterpiece: ☆☆☆☆☆-series. I loved it. See quote above.
  
• 11 - Flawless: Ten does not equal to perfection in my dictionary.
