| ah... This episode... really nothing special... I just liked when Takagi bumped into the wall/door. And in the end he was quite violent, I didn't expect it that much. Next episode will be the girls fight :D Looking forward to that.... |

| ahha it was nice to see more eiji in the beginning :PPP Oh and they even used the real names on Naruto, Bleach and One piece ! :D not Maruto, Beach and Two Piece or whatever ! ;D Was I the only one laughing when Kaya saw that Takagi got 3rd place in exams and then Takagi took his hand over Saiko and they went away.. like i donno where >:D ? Takagi's punch was awesome ! That guy totally deserved it ! |

| JC Staff's adaptation is pretty mediocre for this..it feels more like a cheesy high school romance with a manga backdrop to it. The manga is definitely much more entertaining..watching this is a chore compared to the manga. Don't forget the QUALITY as well...tons of derp up in this show. |

They're pacing it terrible first off which is about 1 chapter and episode which is retarded since the first few chapters are pointless anyways. They're also building up the various relationships with the characters a lot more in this. I take that it's Honey and Clover's influence on this (same director) but that approach definitely doesn't work on this show. They really are focusing on excess nonsense that was literally one page in the manga. Then when something climactic happens (fight this episode) they take away the feeling of it and make it feel cheap and rushed. |

| The final scene was really great. The rest of the episode was not as well directed and developped as the previous ones though. |

| Yes I can finally fangirl abt Eiji in the anime too X3 I just adore his crazy style <3 But apart from my total fangirl at the start of the epi , I rly liked it :D Mashiro and Takagi finally start getting into a roll and it was rly sad to have their story rejected even though it was rly good (I liked it ! I'd sure read it if it were a real manga) . But then again , I can't be RLY sad since I know what happens next xD Also , the punch was EPIC WIN ! That guy always gets on my nerves . Seeing the punch animated made me cheer irl ! IN YOUR FACE WEIRD MOE-DRAWING GUY ! |

| I don't know none of the story they came up with seems interesting to me. I wonder if Bakuman is the name of the manga they'll succeeded with? How can you judge someone else work when you aren't at the same level? I mean all you do is drawing a few head shot! |
| favorite part of the episode was that punch. I wonder if they will resubmit that manga since the story was good maybe try again when mashiro drawing gets better and try to win again i mean they could do that couldn't they? Can't wait to see what happens next |

Not that I don't agree with you as far as animation quality compared to some of JC staff's other shows, but we're talking about an anime adaptation that airs on the NHK network in Japan which is probably the Japanese equivalent of America's PBS network. That being said: Mashiro: "Azuki-i-i! I've won i-i-i-it!" Azuki: "Mashiro, you amazing! Congratulatio-o-o-o-o-o-ons!!" Am I the only one who wasn't expecting the actors to sound like that?! It just added a WHOLE new level of humor to adapting that scene on the voice actor's parts. And they could've just sounded seriously bland and generic too, but they didn't. |

I think those that are upset with the pacing must be manga-readers, so since I've never read the manga and only have the anime to go off of, I have no problems with it at all. I kind of figured that they would lose to Eiji. They got praised on their first manga, and then praised even more for the second piece of work, so if they won the award on top of all that it would just seem like too much. I also knew that Ishizawa would show up later after hearing them talk, but I kind of thought he'd have different intentions. I should have been able to figure out that he would be a douche since he's has that ugly punk face. XD I'm looking forward to the next episode, as always. :) |

| Bakuman never ceases to impress me. I didn't like how things got all mopey for two seconds and then happy again, but the rest was great. If for some reason that guy ever gets a manga published, all it will be is a moe manga about airheaded girls showing their underwear or some BS like that. I feel that stuff like that is cheap, and an insult to people who really try their best to make something with passion. Atleast Mashiro and Takagi are fighting for something true. |

Ishizawa completely deserved that awesome Falcon PunchWatcing Bakuman for me ain't a chore but just as McRib said, the pacing and the emotions the feelings we got from this Anime aren't exactly the same we get from the manga... Maybe the pacing is a bit too slow but it's finally picking up and getting interesting since not everything's joy and success but failure and deceptions... Just like in this episode... I was seriously surprised to the fact that they gave the results in this episode and also how fast time pass on the Series... this when you realise that time sometimes is not really important but what you do while it passes! Takagi definitely had two brilliant moments... bumping into the door... LOOOL! and punching that horrible punk face... See why such people are despised? hated? loathed? Anyway Shujin was awesome today! It's a shame they didn't make it into the 4best finalist list of the Tezuka Award but they did relatively good since they really managed to get into the Final 8 of a really hard prize... And their cover was printed on Shounen Jack! that was awesome! But it's a surprise that Eiji really make it went to Tokyo and finally installed there, but also what was surprising is that he manged to get First and Second on the same Award and actually managing to get his work published... I'm so amazed of him.... and challenging Editor in Chief that way... That was really something peps... I'd love to see more of Eiji on the Anime :3 Everyone looks when they discovered that Takagi wasn't number one anymore were understandable... look at Iwase's! Her oh I finally did it but something really doesn't seems fine look... Saiko's what I've done to him look... Kaya's Oh my God Takagi!... and everyone else chattering gossip-y looks xD Liked the episode Signs, Green |

| I liked this episode a lot. As has been said, the punch was epic. He totally deserved it. He was seriously making me mad. Also I got really nervous when they were waiting on the phone call haha. Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Wow. Takagi can really throw a punch. JC Staff did a really good job, I don't remember that scene being that epic in the manga. Man, I had to rewatch it a few times xD |
