I completely finished it. I just didnt enjoy it as much as Kanon and certainly nowhere near as much as Little Busters.
Would probably have enjoyed it had I not seen both seasons of the anime first. Annoying when you know what to expect.

The Clannad visual novel isnt very good in my honest opinion. With the exception of Kyou/Ryou's route its nothing too interesting.
Kanon and Little Busters are both far better than it.

YES!! I played both VNs, and loved Tomoyo After :D
To tell the truth I don't really like Kyou, she's my least favorite, then Nagisa. But seriously, Nagisa, she's just... weak. I swear. I have a friend who hates Tomoyo, and when I ask her why she says "Because Tomoyo has brutal strength".
Seriouslyyyy, what the hell. I like anime girls with strong personalities. They take action. Like in Tomoyo After. Nagisa is just a weakling who goes looking for help, rather than standing up for herself! Pisses me off.
Nagisa x Tomoya is so bittersweet is makes people go "awww"
BUT
Tomoyo x Tomoya is realistic. Both couples suffer for each other's sake.
Seriously, I can't stress that point when watching or hearing anything about Clannad!
So I'd go with this order for the main heroines...
Tomoyo > Kotomi > Fuko > Nagisa > Kyou
For some reason Kyou never grew on me, IDK why, I usually like/don't mind tsundere characters, but when it comes to Kyou... I don't really know why xD Probably because they didn't elaborate on her and she never had a backstory other than loving Tomoya.

I watched movies 1-6 in a row and had to wait almost a year for 7. Was brutal. But God damn it was worth the wait!
The Epilogue is one of the most philosophically dense things I've ever watched... but as a huge KnK fan I enjoyed it. I'd also like to see that one animated... where Mikiya's daughter is also in love with him. That guy has some serious family-love issues
