Where the fuck is Kubo??????

He's busy watching Dragon Ball Z to see what more he can rip-off from it for Bleach.

Either that or he's planning one huge deus ex machina for Bleach like usual.

my thoughts too.

Oda must be too busy with 2years, so he decide to skip this

if not, he must be thinking, its a waste of time lol (dark side)

Think Oda just isn't interested in doing any oneshot as he doesn't really have an idea other than the one which he could use in One Peace. And to be honest I prefer him to focuss on One Peace instead of giving me a crap oneshot.

rofl dude dont embaress yourself.. he made other manga back in the beginning.. and there is also Omake books there.. random stories, not about OP ofcourse -_-

Hah, don't think I'm embrassing myself by sharing my opinion! Well, considering that he takes 4 weeks hiatus from One Peace I can only assume that he needs holidays from making a manga. So imo it's only natural to think that being already fucking busy with everything that goes on in One Peace he prefers to have fun a little bit instead of working on a oneshot. And even if making it I don't think it would be the best he could do right now simply cuz he doesn't have enough time to think of a good story. So sorry, but I don't want him to do it as I don't want to be disappointed by his work and lose the respect that I have for him. It's just my opinion!

Oda isn't there because he needs 4 weeks off to bang his wife. Also, concentrating on One Piece? Psh. He's talented enough that he can spit out content for One Piece like candy. Like a lot of people have said already, I'm really looking forward to Sorachi's work.

It's very understandable that Kubo is not on that list considering how much hard effort he's been putting into Bleach.

How on Earth did you come to that conclusion?

I dunno, probably reading too much bakuman where oneshot = idea for a new series, his other one shots were ideas for series' too.

^This is a special case, Shueisha just want to make some money, so they made the famous mangakas do some oneshots. They are not doing them because they want to start a new series.

And I'm really disappointed with the lack ofa Oda and Kubo. Mostly Kubo, I'm curious if he could do something better than the current Bleach with a totally new plot.

Oh, and I love how this topic became one of those Bleach-hating ones, even tough it wasn't even mentioned in the news.

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

I'm not. That would be implying Kubo is at Toriyama's level which he is not.

Sorachi and Toriyama's one-shots will be lovely I bet.

Kishimoto doing a baseball themed one-shot? Could be interesting. Baseball with ninjas! (Okay, I'm kidding.)

I don't think he has the time at all to come up with the one shots with what he's doing at the moment, he's taking a 4 week break as it is.

He only take one week break.

From Kaitani Shinobu (author of Liar Game) tweeter;

4週間休載でニュースになってる漫画家さんに会いに行きましたよ。1週間ほど休んだそうですがもう仕事を始 めてました。ファンのために身を削ってますよ。僕も見習います。

I went to see the mangaka-san who's made the news for going on a 4 week break. It seems he rested for about a week, but he's already started work again. He's working himself to the bone for his fans. I'm going to learn from him.

On topic. I'm really impressed with some of the mangaka on the list that has a weekly serialized schedule, manage to take some time to work on one shot chapter.

Looking forward for Toriyama's work as well. He may not be a complex writer or a godlike artist, but people over there (Japan) always want/force him to draw more manga. They didn't care much about plots, they just want some reminiscence of his work. Add the fact that he hasn't been interested on drawing manga for a long period of time now makes me wonder what he gives to his fans this time around.

That's terribly impressive, OP should be amazing next week.
But yeah, Toriyama's designs are easily spotted, been mostly around games lately so it should be really interesting to see what he comes up with.

At first I was like, "YYYYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAAH! This'll be so cool! I can't wait to see what Oda does to this, probably with Kishi and Kubo etc."
And then I saw that list and saw no Oda, and suddenly, I lost all my interest in reading it. ALL OF IT.

Sad to see nearly no love for the Sexy Commando creator. I hope jump will release a tank for it, even if it's half the normal size.
