| This show is great and all but...why does it have such a boring character like Kana? Her only function is to faint, do stupid things and be a useless damsel in distress. She adds nothing to the story. Even in this Kana-centric episode, all the other characters were twice as interesting as her. Even those that got 2 seconds screentime. |

| Nice episode, even in the manga that mirror felt a little more menacing, but eh. It felt like there were a few sexual innuendos in this episode, and of course Kana is clueless. This is where the story picks up, which is nice and Nura develops even more. |

She's the Youhime to Rikou's grandfather, Nurarihyon; she's the Wakana to Rikou's father, Rihan ..basically, she's the girl that can't do anything, except be Rikou's love interest XD Manga spoiler: If you read the manga, you'll notice some pretty interesting things regarding where Nurarihyon and Rikou took their "love interests" on their "first date." |

Between RikuoXKana suck, vote RikuoXYura now. Anyway I finaly watched this episode and here what I think: MEH. The mirror monster was not scary in the manga, but it didn't had such a stupid look, let's say he was a bit more menacing. The art in the anime is so so when one of the thing that make this manga awesome is the art. They somehow made Kana less interesting (And I seriously wonder how they did it). They gave a tsundere an unfitting shy voice and the animation is so so as well. Probably a lack of budget which is sad, Nurarihyon should have goten way more because it's awesome :(. |

hey somehow made Kana less interesting (And I seriously wonder how they did it). Simple: they removed some funny faces she made and removed many monologues from her. In other words, they removed all the stuff that made her interesting. |

| As far as art goes, both anime and manga have good points IMO. Manga is a bit more cartoony and is inspired to some extent by ancient Japanese art while anime art is more colorful and more fitting for an anime (for just animated manga art would probably more often look weird then not). |

| Not a bad episode. Mirror demon was pathetic. Rikuo just cut him down in a second. Hmmm... Kana blushed but seemed ok with the idea of going into a room with night Rikuo and to the staff she thought he was gonna do. You little dirty girl you.. | I hate Kana, she exactly the type of character I despise the most... air-headed, clueless, too sweet and has tendency to cling on the hottest guy in the series. Only thing that she can do is being harassed by "big scary" demons and waiting with teary eyes for help, I hope in the future will be not scenes like this ... Really even Yura is far more better than her T_T...Well it's a famous cliché that almost in every shonen story is this type of annoying character -__-... |
| This episode somehow impressed me, since episode 1-9 I was totally WHAT THE... I felt the goosebumps (during the mirror moments) even though it wasn't considered as a horror/thriller genre This ones annoys me, Kana: no..since I'm with you, I'm not scared and since the subs went wrong @17mins onwards (I have a reason to skip it lil' by lil') |
