| I accidentally watched the 11th episode instead of the 1st episode first, kinda ruined the show for me. Oh well -_- Anyway, I think the 1st episode was pretty good! It gives off a very alt vibe that I'm loving. The OP and ED were great, all the characters and designs are really pretty (as expected of Madhouse), and the story looks like it could go in a great direction. I'm quite curious to see how it develops. Only thing that I didn't like was Caroline's voice. Oh my god. |
| i definitely agree with veronica here! the animation in this anime is truly one of a kind. with all the nana comparisons it definitely inspires me to see that show. as for the story so far it is slightly cliche but meh...i could use the break from the typical anime that's all about action.so far i can dig it! |
| Agree with Chi^^ The tricks they used to lure her in, and giving her the notebook after she had a deep breath of the fashion biz...it was a tad over-played. After watching NANA, I will probably not enjoy as much .. as it's going to be difficult to not compare the two. -REN'S LOCKET<3 I MEAN, SID'S LOCKET!!!! AHHK, I wonder who locked his heart up? xD |
| I guess everyone has a different type of animation they like, I have to agree with Mystere, I don't like it that much, I didn't like it in NANA either. I liked the old hairstyle of the girl a lot more though.. xD but I'll keep watching it. |

| Pretty interesting start I must say, the concept and characters seem rather interesting and the Art has quite an unique touch as well! So well let's see what this show has to offer us! But well I sure like it already! Lol that sure is a crazy ED! |

| Loved it, can't believe I put this off for so long. And omg, Tommy february6 for the OP!!! I remember listening to Lonely in Gorgeous like, 10 years ago when I was obsessed with JPOP. The memories! | I don't like the art too. I'm not talking about general characters design, but how they applied a make-up for example. It looks weird. Another problem is chibi forms on funny scenes. I HATE that. It works ok in Manga, not in anime :/ And she looked much better before cutting her hair. Actually she looks ugly with cut bangs OP song is nice, but I don't like ED at all. |

| Wow that voice acting was bad. It sounded so unnatural (I'm talking about the japanese audio...) It certainly had a unique art style. That's really about all I can say about it. I didn't really like it. It wasn't terrible though. |

| Haven’t watched this yet but I was wondering whether or not I need to watch Gokinjo Monogatari to understand anything in this show, or is totally fine to just watch this on it’s on? |

| Those safety pins in the face are pretty painfull to watch. Only resemblance to the old prequel are the unique characters with their fashion. Animation looks a bit choppy but the art style is a lot better compared to the prequel imo. Scaring and kidnapping her and than getting mad at her after she gets mad, great start of a friendship! I honestly prefer her old hairstyle I think I am 99% sure who miwako's sister is based on the description and their looks |

| only half way through the first episode but not liking this so far, like the OP said, the transitions are sloppy, also there it seems like it's just flicking through story points as fast as it can and it also feels like it's trying way too hard to be "artsy", perhaps even to mimic madhouse's own Tokyo Godfathers in tone, and failing miserably. update: I liked the second half of the episode better, and all and all the anime has a certain charm to it, first episodes can be a bit rough around the edges anyhow so I think I'll stick with it after all. Though with the kidnapping and stalking it feels more like they are grooming her for a cult than recruiting her to be a model. also the ED is adorable. |

My impression is that it's only related in that it takes place in the same universe and a character from the previous show/manga only shows up for a bit. I've had no problems understanding the story without watching the previous show at all. I've noticed MAL's definition of a prequel or sequel seems a bit... odd at times. |

I was going by a post I read. But anyhow, I'm having no problems with it, it's primarily about a different group of people, it seems to be more of just a diferent story in the same universe to me. |

| i am not sure if i am pleassed to see queer character in not shounen ai anime or i am more confused with the idea that this whole bi-thing happened cause of the stereotypes like fashion designer is a gay-ish job. but whatever. maybe i just overthink. i do like how it goes, simple, but interesting. and the main girl is really pretty. |
