There is a minor character who is still missing: the eighth general in Father's Inner Circle. I posted a screenshot of this guy in the episode 55 thread. He is tan, bald, and wears square-shaped sunglasses. We still have only accounted for 7/8 Inner Circle generals. Where is this guy?

Sacrifice from Fu wasn't really wasted at least, Wrath's eye is now injured. One thing I really didn't understand was the part when they were fighting fail Wraths, only one that seemed to do anything to them was Hawkeye, the rest just threw them without actually hurting them...

after watchin the subbed version of this episode , i have to say that the animation was good....fluid ...done well....but the artwork especially during the mustang scene was terrible.....SEMI CHIBI ROY.....but if u try to understand the situation , i dont think BONES had any oter choice besides screwin the artwork for this episode......ANIMATION costs a lot of money , and theyve been blowing it over the past few episodes.....

on the other hand...this episode was F'ckin epic.........9000/5 ezeeeeeeeeeee.......

FAI"S POLL is EPIC WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Ling appeared! Yussss. Can't wait for the next episode.
I still can't grasp the fact that we're already HERE. And that the last manga chapter is only one month away. Damn.

Gold toothed Doctor, now that was a crazy guy of my liking xP
Talk about a massive awesome cliffhanger :D

Loved the continuation of Bradley's fighting scene, especially the part where he cut of the fuse heads on those explosives, such an anticlimax after the charge and prepared self sacrifice of Fu xD
Well played of Buccaneer though to pull off that frontal sneak attack.

Will be interesting to see as of how the battle ends.

Lol at Fai's poll. And I see someone really is trolling with that 1/5 score.

-The faces of some of the characters were kind of distorted at some scenes but fight animation did not drop one bit. I lol'ed at the earlier post of Mustang's face when he was fistfighting.

-I was gritting my teeth the whole Fu and Ling vs Bradley fight. My teeth must have cracked when Fu and Bucaneer did those attacks and when Greedlin attacked Wrath. That was a great voice acting by Nakamura, Miyano and Fu's seiyuu(have to look up his name).

-Izumi and Olivier talk was very great and heartwarming.

-The last part had most of the animation budget. The breaking down of Ed, Al and Izumi into bits were great as well as the transmutation circle, along with the awesome background music.

They're keeping the suspense up by shortening the next episode preview. I like that. There are only 6 episodes left...Can't believe this is gonna end soon. Gotta stop saying that coz' it'll make it more realistic that FMA is really ending. Can't wait for the next episode(and final chapter).

This episode like almost all the other ones about the promised day are just freaking fantastic!

I was wondering how they were going to stretch this over this many episodes, but now I think I will be kind of sad when it's over!

And I want the next episode now! Stupid cliffhanger!

Some other small notes about this episode that I've been meaning to comment on.

The Central soldiers already within HQ seem to have largely finished off the artificial humans and... as I expected, they still remain loyal to King Bradley. Only four of the Central soldiers have defected to the Armstrongs, and even those four had to hear of the bad guys' evil plans directly from one of Father's Inner Circle members before they did so. So much for, as I said in 55, "battle-forged bonds."

It was amusing though to see Izumi slap him around with her sandal for perverting the mantra of alchemy, "All is one, one is all" like that. Of course, if Sam Fisher from Conviction was the one interrogating him, it would've gotten a helluva lot more violent...

The tunnel leading up to the main gate platform is now undermanned. After Fu's Prince of Persia moment in the previous episode, the last surviving Central soldier who wasn't turned into Swiss cheese by the light machine guns managed to shoot and kill the guy who was manning the LMG on the right, meaning half the tunnel is now open for the Central army to come charging up. Why the hell Briggs hasn't gotten someone to get back on that turret is a mystery to me. If you're in a defending situation and you have an unmanned turret, everyone who's played an FPS online knows you get one of your teammates on it ASAP!

I guess I was then only one who found this episode boring. Nothing particularly surprising or cool happened. I wasn't expecting Fu's death, but he was so expendable of a character that I didn't even think about it. I had also written Buccaneer off for dead by the end of last week, so yeah. Then the scene where the soldiers are unsure of what to do after the Brigadeer General tells them everything just made me think that they were killing, if they were going to hesitate like that. I just wasn't all that interested in what I was watching.

well , keeping bradley , fu , greed and buccaneer aside , i've come to a conclusion that Bones is going all out in shipping royai and royxriza . . . .
And i was really surprised to see hawkeye owning bradley wannabees , when established alchemist were having a tough time . . . Guess , this is what differentiates fma from the rest . . No matter who you are , you get your chance to shine :) :)

sorry to say . But i don't think bradley can regenerate . . Wasn't it obvious from his reaction . And i remember him mentioning in episode 26 that all he had in him from the time he was declared 'KING BRADLEY' is just one soul . . .

@aikahime . . . Mustang isn't a confirmed human sacrifice . . . He is just a candidate . .

Bradley can't regenerate. He is different from other homunculi and the proof is that he has been aging normally. You can also see that those failed Bradlies Riza took on her own (lol, she did all the doings in that episode, rest were useless I have to say, and Mustang showing his chibi-side was like major LOL) were killed when they were shot in their vital spots. They were not created directly from Father, rather, they were created in the laboratory with artificial stone in its liquid form.

Its not that Bradley is a container of Wrath, rather Wrath was born from the single soul of the 12th test subject, who was later named King Bradley, who had a soul powerful enough to merge itself with the stone to give the birth to wrath.

Thats the way I see it, remember however that Greed is different despite being in a human body (Ling), because he was born directly from Father (who consumed the last Greed) as he let all of his 'Greed' emotions injected into Ling. So, Ling is a container of Greed, and he didn't allow his soul to be taken over by Greed.
