Dio's influence affects many generations.

I wonder if their father will get a name in the anime like Anne did.

Sono chi no sadame!

Dio is back in the game. At least from beyond the grave.

I'm new to the whole JoJo franchise but already addicted. It was quite comfortable to be able to binge watch Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders. Now I have to wait for an episode every week. I hope this pays off.

Josuke is quite different from the other JoJos. But I already like him.

The only concern I have is if the story will be just as epic as the previous seasons. With DIO gone and no ancient pillar men this time?

As others have said, this was a greato episode. I was surprised by the amount of emotional depth they were able to add to the Nijimura brothers. Plus, the older brother is actually a pretty interesting villain in the way of his motivations anyway. I like how they plot is moving forward, and there's still stuff going on in the background. It doesn't feel as quite like a monster of the week show anymore. Not that I have any problem with that of course!

Least favorite episode so far. So you mean to tell me his dad everyday has been going in that box for a picture that was ripped up into a few pieces for years and the brothers never once was able to see it was a picture of them lol. That's kinda weak, also people actually tearing up over this lol.

A-HA! People reacting this way...I knew this would happen!

The family-photo was way more shredded up in the manga to the point where it was supposed to be hard to tell what the Nijimura father had been doing all this time -- there wasn't just 8 or so pieces like there was in the anime. I don't think the animators for this particular episode felt bothered to animate so many scraps of paper coming back together. Plus, there was supposed to be a lot more random shit inside the box. It's a miracle Josuke even saw what the father was doing. (Already attempted to explain this to someone over on CrunchyRoll)

Great episode. The Nijimura Brothers sure have a tragic past.
Now I understand why Keicho is looking for a certain Stand User so they can kill their father.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers makes his appearance. I like his design. Interesting to see what else he can do with his electricity. He stole the Bow & Arrow. This is not good.
Keicho saving Okuyasu, but is now dead.

Amazing how Dio is dead, but even now still has influence over a lot of people.

Great to see Okuyasu part of the group now. Looking forward to seeing how he interacts with Josuke & Koichi.

yuki kaji voicing koichi is turning out to be 10 times more hilarious to me with his random screeching and squealing, even while being off screen.

this episode was great. every single episode, i find myself loving Josuke's voice actor so much. Seeing Okuyasu become his best bro now is like the world is in perfectly balance, the sky is blue, etc.

red hot chili peppers is coming and I am so excited!!

Feels: The episode.

I feel like the anime did this so much better than the manga, even if the pacing was a bit slower than I would have hoped. It actually made me feel a bit sad for everyone involved.

Red Hot Chili Pepper has arrived. And with the ASB voice actor. Who in face is he indeed.

Okuyasu has no chill. Okuyasu should join Kakyoin in milf hunting.

One thing I didn't like about this episode is that it seemed that there were only two or three tracks playing the entire episode, each being super melodramatic. This is probably going to be the most melodramatic episode for a long while though, so I guess it's fine.

after marathoning jojo up to this point i've finally caught up......not i have to wait weekly for more jojo.....

i thought this episode was alright. this series certainly has a stronger opener than pt3.

this here gives good character motivation. i didnt find it too emotional for me so much it was to get the characters going. Looking forward to this stories villain.

oh and "wrong company"? shouldnt the stand be called "bad company" seeing how it's writen on the guy's collar and it's a rock n roll refrence...

It seems that most of the stands from now on are a reference to some band and the names have been changed in the subs to avoid copyrights problems however you can still hear the right pronunciation in engrish.

At least give Koichi and Spoilra Kuin a chance.
I'd say that we're not even at the segment of this part where the author finally hits his stride.

Best episode so far...

Seeing Okuyasu tear up when he said his brother defended him in the end made me tear up as well. Their family's story was just so tragic. Good thing Okuyasu joined the gang at the end, though. I can already tell he's going to be my favorite.

A quite emotional episode and a welcome change of pace from all the fighting. I think it's one of the strongest points of this part. It's not just one Stand fight after another but includes some breathing time in between for some great moments like this one.

I think you'll like this part. It has some part 2 vibes comedy wise, you just have to stick to it. Part 3 is probably one of the weakest, but every part after it is really good and radically different. Don't drop the JoJo.

That was a great episode, although the dad brought it upon himself I still feel bad for him. One of the most tragic fates in the series imo. The Josuke/Okuyasu bromance is finally here <3
The OST & art were very good in this episode as well, 5/5

Very emotional episode. I even cried in the scene when Keicho tells Josuke and Koichi the backstory of his father and later when Josuke fix the family photo. Sasuga, JoJo T_T

Now we have Red Hot Chilli Pepper in action, and his user has the same seiyuu of ASB. That's great. Felt sad for Keicho's death.

Okuyasu is great, I love him so much and he didn't even that much. Glad he is one of the main characters now.

P.S: Dio's cameo was fabulous, as expected.

Sorta. It is 5 chapters, but the first 2/3 of the first chapter was already adapted in this episode (the phone conversation with Jotaro).

It was kind of cheesy, but I loved the animation and colouring again. My favourite part was the last 2 minutes when Okuyasu showed up at Josuke's house, I definitely don't remember that being as great in the manga :D

But I am looking forward to the bow and arrow, especially because it's stolen by an electric stand user.

I liked the reason behind the emergence of Stand users and how it was linked to prior chapters (plus I always loved those egoists villains with good motives).
Red Hot Chili Peppers is a strange combination: electric element in the form of a golden kappa.

I felt touched by Keichou’s twisted love for his family even tho he punched Okuyasu to avoid RHCP’s attack and still blamed him even before dying. After all, he’s just a conflicted guy (or a tsundere?) been through sad shits during childhood.

It made me teary when Okuyasu saw Keichou’s miserable death and said his brother still defended him in the very end.

Jotaro was collected as always. Just analyzed RHCP’s identity and didn’t give a shit about his being so pissed off, lol.
