Thank you! Felt like someone had to say it, it's honestly annoying how entitled this fanbase seems to be. I too am enjoying the anime more than the manga, good to see there's more people who feel the same.

Yeah. Especially the fat-headed version of Valentine, lol. But I bet that version won't appear in the anime at all.

It's not that it's too soon, just that it's overly simplistic, lol. Dio is a cartoon villain, I mean he's a lot of fun, but he doesn't have the depth to him that a real human being does.

Lol! That's funny. Dio is a way better evil dastard than Trump. I'd rather have Dio as president tbh.

I guess that's only natural though. Trump gets compared to every villain ever, whether they be from Star Wars, Marvel, anime, doesn't matter.

Lmao yeah that first episode had the same reaction in 2012. Do you remember the people who were predicting that this was just going to be a Victorian-era bullying anime, in which young Dio picks on Jojo and he has to thwart him every episode in a formulaic fashion? Those people were hilarious!

How's the reaction to Jojo on Toonami? I don't watch since I don't have cable/satellite but I do wonder if it's making Jojo more popular in the West.

What do you think of DP's color choices? I was really upset that they made young Joseph's hair brown instead of purple, and now it's even more upsetting to me that games like Eyes of Heaven are going with brown as default instead of purple too, lol. It's not right, I tell ya!

Yeah I was really bummed out that they were going with a late Part 4 design for the whole show rather than starting them buff and then gradually shrinking them. It's also too bad because the anime-only viewers don't get to have the same experience, lol.

By the way, do you prefer the little triangle noses, or the rounder ones? I always preferred rounder and more natural looking. I was so happy when they returned in SBR. But, one of my best friends disagrees and thinks triangle is better looking.

I didn't skim any of early Part 3, 'course that's because I was reading physical copies so I was studying like every line and detail of every page because they were gorgeous, lol. Part 3's artwork is absolutely the best IMO. At that time Araki still had that super heavy ink shading style which was also in 1&2, and it's simply stunning to look at. The anime doesn't do the original artwork justice, nor could it hope to either. It's way too richly detailed for TV animation budgets to afford.

I hope that if a Part 5 TV anime does come then it will finally get the positive recognition over here that it deserves. 'Course I guess it's still more likely that people will just dismiss it as "Monster of the week" anyway... =P

Animayhem is a hate-watcher, is what it is. I don't really get people who want to waste time for nearly a whole year of their life watching a Japanese cartoon that they are determined to hate, but he/she is not the first person to ever do that. You'll always find people like that around.

Also nice, I haven't read Part 5 since like 2009 or so. Got them Duwang scans. IMO Part 5 is really excellent and I never understood why it gets so much hate in the English-speaking realm. Is it just because of the ending alone? I know it's not the greatest but all the material before that is some of the strongest in Jojo's ever. I mean Part 5 is the first Stand arc which is awesome right from the get-go (whereas Part 3 & 4's early half aren't as strong as the later stuff).
