| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, I thought this episode was delicious. Just love the personality and skillful style of some of the characters, like this fiery kind:  I also kinda like the amount of color texture and cultural expression of the food too with the country varieties. The metaphor of the cowboy in the desert is like art:  Anyways, I think the episode established a strong set of competitors scoring in the 80s+ and two into the 90s. Loved the way Alice and Megumi competed~ |

| Unlike the manga, which showed the results for both block A and B together, the anime's going to show all of block B's contestents first, then Block A. So technically, this episode adapted 5 chapter, excluding all of Block A's participants. Next episode is Block A (the most intense block!). I guess this series is going to end just when preliminaries end. A second season is must then. 5/5 |

| I wish I lived in this series.....I wanna eat Takumi and Isami's dishes so badly TwT Alice is a fucking BOSS lol and I'm really happy for Megumi, she really deserved it. I feel bad for Isami though but oh well at least he was the runner up Looks like my prediction came through although I thought that Isami would have upset his brother XP The twin in Souma's group has issues for dishing out all those 0's lol these set of judges are cruel xD |

| Poor Megumi forgotten like that but happy for her that she made it at the end ^^ Alice too OP XD They couldn't even judge it properly. And she wasn't even satisfied with the 95 lol Group A is seeming much harder. Can't wait to see her Foodgasming. Ryou's BAness is finally about to make it's debut :P |

| Dammit, Desutronic beat me to posting that Yuuki pic :'( She's so adorable I was quite worried on how they'll show everyone's dish especially since we're drawing near the end of the show but I'd say they did a pretty good job with it. Can't wait to see Souma and what's his face compete off :P |

| Megumi was the definite highlight of this episode, her dish had more build-up than the others. Great stuff from her <3 |

| I really like Megumi's story. When she was being judged they made it look like she was going to lose or something but thankfully she made it. I'm so proud of her! I also really like the relationship between the Aldini brothers. Megumi and Aldini's have the best stories imo. Next week is looking pretty intense. |

| Every time I watch Shokugeki No Soma I feel like episodes are only like 10mins long because time flies so fast.. I guess it tells how good the show really is. Really good episode as always.. Megumi really proved that she can cook without Somas help. |
Alice's dish was quite something. Didn't look like any kind of curry I've seen. I like her cooking style and not surprised she got the highest score.  I was rooting for Megumi but I really thought she wouldn't make it. :O I like seeing the underdog succeed. She has grown & come a long way since the 1st ep.  |

| Like I said before, I'm glad to see Megumi showing that she can handle things without Souma's help all the time. It could also be because of the fact that she's a main character so plot convenience, but whatever. All those dishes looked delicious. As I predicted, Takumi, Alice, and Megumi all advanced. Felt really bad for Isami, always living in his brother's shadow. And Alice's reaction to her score reminds me of that one asshole who gets a near perfect score on a test and then bitches that it wasn't a 100% lol (especially when they got the best score in the entire class). Let's see what kind of delicious dishes Group A presents next episode. Sendawara is apparently a harsh judge, but I'm sure she'll change her mind with whatever Souma and Hayama serve. I think I already know who will advance from Group A. |

| With Block B being this delicious, I can't wait to see what Block A has in store for us!! Really enjoyed seeing all those different types of food and being able to pick out variations of existing food I've had before or seen in movies! Can't wait to see what Souma and the rest of the Block A gang cooks up! |

| Once Isami and the Chinese girl got tied for the last, 4th place, it was obvious that Megumi would seize the last passing spot from them both with a minimal score difference, so I wasn't surprised in the least to see it come to pass. Since I like Megumi, even this kind of predictability is more or less ok with me, I guess. But I was more interested in Group A from the start anyway, and we got nearly nothing on it in this week's ep... And now, another week long wait ahead. |

TIL  ~~ As Stark said the detailing in the anime is exceptional... I noticed that all the tea cups were different for each judge !  ~~ The character backgrounds and them finesses wow ! | Aldinis: bromance of the season? Megumi's cooking has a charm to it, beyond the technicaly level, that you either appreciate, or you don't. Seems at least two of the judges did. Myself, I'd pick Megumi's cooking over any of the others' (in group B at least) any day. |

| Absolutely loved this episode. Not gonna lie, at first I didn't think Megumi was gonna make it, but then again, it was a bit obvious she was going to make it, she had to lol. This episode surprised me. I had no idea who was going to make it to the next round, but I'd say I'm really happy with those who made it. As for the next episode, really looking forward to it. I actually got chills after I finished this episode lol. By the way that this show is pacing, I really do feel like we won't see Souma's cooking until episode 24, sadly but that's a great way to end the series, with a bang. Looking forward to see all the foodgasms that Block A has to offer :P Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Souma received a score of 99 or 100. Guess we just gotta wait and see. |

| Wow that music and flashbacks for megumi really kicked it up a notch for the ending. It did seem a bit repetitive but that's how cooking competitions are....they cook..get tasted..cook, get tasted...xD I really like the details in animation too....the details in the cooking and sound effects, the unveiling of the food. All perfect. |

| I'm not gonna lie. This shit is getting overrated and today's episode proved it to me definitely. The art en ost that get's praised to much it is nothing special. If people would just actually look ad how many things are moving in a picture and the time choosing of the overused ost you guys would see that. It's so dam obvious it really frustrates me people keep being ignorant. Also only VIP characters get recognition even when they are bad developed. Useless not needed characters get there attention too for some reason even if de anime is not going to put effort in them in the futre. Its just the clishe shonen anime people. Just face the dam facts. |
