Heh, a fitting end to this specific show I suppose. The girls meets some of the guest cameos like Sonic at the end after clearing the levels.

Some of the other characters really bought back the nostologia.

"♫ Sega ♪" -- Shortest school song ever!

That farewell speech was hilarious! They just went with the flow and said things that they didn't even do. XD

The separate departures were a bit sad though.. Oddly enough, I actually want a second season of this!

I enjoyed this show more than I thought I would. A lot of the references were too old for me, but at least I loved those I did recognize.

Anyone else got some minor Angel Beats vibes when Mega Drive was about to depart to the real world? Sort of ruined it when she came back though xD

This was a hard show to watch from beginning to end, but goddammit, why am I feeling sad over this, and why am I regretting never owning a Sega console?

Definitely going to miss this show. Unexpectedly cute, heartwarming and funny. As a Sega fanboy(once upon a time), this show hit all the right notes. It was cool how they all became the actual consoles at the end, loved by people all around the world. ;_;

The constant references and jokes...so much nostalgia. Really fun show. Dreamcast best girl, btw.

Spoilers: Dreamcast dies an early death. T__T

Really gonna miss this show and all the nostalgia it carried with it. A shame it didn't have the chance to visit more Sega game worlds like for example, NiGHTS would have been amazing imo, but overall this was pretty enjoyable.

The ending is super sad for two reasons though: Mega Drive, Saturn, and Dreamcast graduate and say their goodbyes to each other. They become actual consoles with the dream to entertain everyone around the world and we all know how that worked out for Sega's consoles except Mega Drive...

Sorry if I killed the mood of the ending now, I really am! T.T

Was a nice little show. Nothing great, but nice entertainment every week which brought back nostalgia of the games I had played as a kid. Was also hilarious how derpy these 3D character models are considering when I played them as a kid, I thought they were realistic.

So in the end, after they graduate, they get reborn as hardware to be loved by everyone. If it were any serious series, that ending would be quite rageworthy lol.

And in the end they decided to focus on Dreamcast.
Well, this was obviously for gamers and people who played SEGA games.
So I couldn't enjoy it that much, but still, it was nice.

I hope someday this type of anime would be made for Sony and Nintendo XD

DAMNIT SHOW!!! Waiting all season and you trolled us with mentioning Segata Sanshiro!! Where was his theme song!! Where was the scene of him throwing children and exploding because they didn't like the Saturn!

Nice to see Crazy Taxi and Rub Rabbits/Feel the Magic got at least a reference. Boy Rub Rabbits was a weird game but man was it fun!.

That ending was not expected... Kinda sad when you realized both the Saturn and Dreamcast (In NA atleast) died SUPER HARD and the Dreamcast was the reason Sega almost bankrupted.

Overall, 6/10. Show was alright but nothing worth writing home about. Had some nice references here and there.

Definitely sad to think of for any Sega fan. To be precise, though, the Dreamcast wasn't exactly the reason that Sega got out of the hardware business. When the Dreamcast was discontinued it was selling very well and had broken sales records, however, Sega realized that they didn't have the money to advertise and compete against Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, all of whom had much larger marketing budgets. The higher-ups at Sega simply decided to cut their losses and switch to software instead of getting blown out of the water by the three juggernauts. So, the Dreamcast didn't cause the downfall of Sega's hardware business; their hardware business was destined to fail regardless. Sega simply wasn't in a strong enough financial position to deal with the massive level of competition, and truthfully, they made the right decision.

I almost teared up when Sonic and the rest were cheering Dreamcast on. You know because of Sega dying hard after its release.

It's sad that IRL Saturn and Dreamcast had those hard deaths, but they werent as prostituted as MegaDrive with those add-ons (MegaCD and Mega32X)
Gonna miss the Sega ladies... but what about Sega Mark 3, AKA MAster System? It had some of the most epic games ever made on Sega systems :/

A bit of a bittersweet ending, considering the sales flop of the Dreamcast, but man, did that console have a lot of brilliant and unique games. Overall, I enjoyed the series, but I can see how you probably wouldn't if you're not familiar with the games and characters referenced in each episode.

Kind of happy sad ending. Bittersweet goodbyes. I looked over at hubby and said, "not so spoiler: Sega falls out of the console wars and goes back to just making games." Lol Kind of makes me want to go hit the secondhand shops and buy new old consoles. I gave it an 8/10 because it was genuinely hillarious and all the nostalgia feels.

So they graduated and became gaming consoles. How cheesy is that? This series was pretty bad if I'm being honest. Nostalgia seems to be the only redeeming factor here. I thought the humor was pretty good in the beginning but it became redundant trash after a while.

Came in with no expectations, left unsurprised. 3/10.

It was a fun series. I wished they would have opted for a 2D approach tho, that CG and 3D effects were hard to watch sometimes.

Also, whoever had the idea for the crossover with Neptune is a saint. Taking our hard girls out of eternal limbo and making them shine in a proper game was a stroke of genius.

One that will never happen again I'm afraid.

Cute ending. It was getting a little ridiculous towards the end with all the sentimentality about becoming a good console. Still, overall I enjoyed this series and got quite a few kicks from its sense of humour.

What I was expecting to dislike most about this show was the use of CG. Honestly, I ended up enjoying the visuals even if they were at times pretty awkward and lazy. I also wasn't anticipating how much the characters grew on me towards the end. That being said, this show suffered from the 11-minute episode structure and droves of missed potential. Mega Drive and Dreamcast bluffing about the other game worlds they went to made me realise how far they could have gone with the premise. I would have loved to see them play Nights into dreams or Ristar.

For a few closing notes, I wish I had a phone with Phantasy Star Online sound effects like the one Dreamcast had. I wanted the Hard Girls to go into Sonic Adventure 2 so they could recreate the Purple Chao story. I also hoped a moemorphised Sega Pico would appear to throw a bone to all the disgusting lolicon in the audience. That would have honestly been hilarious.

6/10 for me, which is pretty good in my books.
