But i think makoto's chance of surviving is maybe... 5 percent? yeah i noticed that and also the same fox was there in the first episode... idk but i feel that there is going to be a sad string of episodescoming up... wow amazing how death can change the whole mood of things... i though makoto was annoying and then when she was eventually going to die, or is supposed to die it becomes sad and you grow that attachment to her, and i'm curious as to how shiori and aya play in this whole ordeal... i have a feeling there is a relation with makato and aya... idk... |

Anyway, it's a shame that Key did not make Makoto's apperance similar to Horo's, from Spice and Wolf. (Horo's supposed to be a Wolf but in her human form she looks more like a Fox imo) I mean, the cute "fox" ears and tail would had made Makoto so adorable!! |
| It's sad... Key had always played the plots well with the memory loss / death / disappear theme ... it kept reminding me of "a moment to remember" the film. Another tear jerker. |

| Man, go Key. Everything I've watched from them so far is amazing. Even though it makes me emotional to watch their shows, they still get me hooked into it so much that I /have/ to stay up another 24 minutes to see the next episode. Great episode! Had me getting teary-eyed. Makoto really does act and speak like a little child now. ...Donde esta Piro? |

I actually thought she had more of a dog-like appearance from the start, due to her mouth and teeth. But I guess a fox is rather similar to a dog, so I was looking in the right direction. Very sad, although I for once haven't cried. |

| Pooooooor Makoto!! T.T This version is much better then the previous... Now i almost cried, kawaisoooooooo Makoto!!! I expect next episode makes me cry, if it's what i'm thinking. This 2006 version from KyoAni was a really good re-make. |

| Although I have to agree this episode was much better than the others before, I can't help but feel that the sad factor was incredibly exaggerated. And I still don't like Makoto... the fox is cute though. |
| ... piro eaten by Makoto? Makoto grew on me. Or should I say the poor fox creature. Now everything makes sense, from her abandoning the cat, to Auuu to mischievous nature... She's not my favourite character, perhaps the worse for Key/Kyoani character, but now... I feeling bad for her already. |

| Dang it, I get a bit teary eyed every time I watch this episode. Reminds me why I loved this show so much; I've watched a lot of great shows but I think Kanon is the only one that I actually get emotional over. ...and the next episode is even worse. |

| Alright, that's it. My love points for Makoto sky rocketed once she got those bells. I mean, how much more can she remind me of my all time favorite character? On MAL's rating scale, I'm giving this anime an 11. Yes, I know that there is no actual 11 option, but that's just how good Kanon is. |

| Great episode with an amazing sub-story really strengthens the main story! The ending was quite sad and brings more emotion out than the 2002 version! Really lovely episode :D |
