I think Kobato will get darker in the next episodes,I hope not too dark.
for me it was yet hard to watch as the guy pulled at Kobato's hair in episode 5.
just to return the favor i'll give you a heads up on the only anime on your ptw i have seen, if only briefly.
Ergo proxy: centres around a high class women and a low class man who live in a utopian society where robots do all demaning tasks apart from one job, which is filled out by several people, this job is to hunt down rogue robots or fix robots which have been attacked by what seems to be a virus and find out how they're becoming infected with it. (there are hundreds of hidden messages such as letters floating in alphabet soup spell out an animators name and sign posts have the name of real places on so you can work out exactly where this "Utopian city is".
it's a good anime for you if you love science stories with very good plots, however there wasn't enough entertainment for me filling in the science and i found it was a huge neverending conversation over this supposed virus.
thanks, i'll be sure to watch Air and chobits, i loved death note (apart from the ending ) so code geass is probably next to watch, i quite like philosophy when my brains awake, so i'll be sure to watch spice and wolf and Kino's journey when i'm ready for philosophy and long words XD. and when i need a lift i'll be right by Ichigo mashimaro.
there are no swords in higurashi apart from one which is used in one episode :S not sure why all the pictures have it there. higurashis about a small town in japan where people die mysteriously in the night, if you follow it you can work it out but it's really mystical to the point of insanity. XD i love it though

Argh, dat is zo moeilijk XD Euhm.. Pruisen, Rusland, China zijn erg lol, al blijft mijn favoriet denk ik toch wel England, gewoon omdat ik UK sowieso wel tof vind.

thanks, i'll try out ef-a tale of memories. Have you ever seen Higurashi no koro no ni, it has the comedy in parts and is a mystery but has no romance and is violent so it might not be for you, but i loved it.
