| Overhated? Lets pull out some statistics. Episode 1 aired a few days ago. There's over 2000 10/10 vote, to a mere 100 1/10 vote. This anime have a higher love-hater ratio than Christianity in USA that is quite something. |

It was really meaningful and it assumes the concept actually (about the difference between rl-vr). If you didn't comprehend it doesn't mean it was "illogical"... And i don't give a shit about harem part, there are other pros. First of all, the thing as overrated or over-hated shit doesn't exist. I think it's obvious that If you liked or disliked it doesn't mean others must do the same. That kind of forum treads are meaningless, and what I think is that moderators should always keep an eye on it and block it, because that kind of non-sense forums just becomes haters-fans fighting/spamming place. Second, if you see few people shove their opinions and argue it doesn't mean everyone hate it. Look at nicknames, it appears like the same 50 people writing through different forums the same stuff about how shit sao is or how cosmic it is. And unfortunately haters-attention whores has the habit to reveal itself the most. Wise people just rate it and goes away (and as you can see it has pretty good score, it means majority liked it). What i mean is don't trust the scores nor forums. Personally, SAO was a very good proof for the rule, that if something has very different opinions it's worth a try. And what is so good about SnK if we start to talk about it? Fanservice everywhere. Yeah lets create a chars you may like then let's kill them! Surprise, boom! The blood&gore fanservice is the most disgusting. |
