This topic on fixing your covers part of our Customizing your list section and Tools and Tips section. This is intended for using Blink! by Veriti to fill in the missing DVD or manga covers on your list! Its a simpler program intended for just fast cover generation. Step 1: Find what kind of cover CSS your list has Blink! makes different kinds of cover CSS and will ask you what kind you need for your layout. You need to know what kind of covers your layout uses; if you don't know use the instructions in the spoiler below. Step 2: Download and open the generator Go to the official page for Blink! and download it from the green links at the bottom: https://github.com/VeriTi/blink/releases/latest Step 3: Start generator and generate the right CSS for your list Step 4: Open a Dropbox account, upload the CSS and get a direct link to it Go to Dropbox.com and make an account. Its free. Upload the CSS file you generated to the home page there. Step 5. Paste the direct link URL into your CSS edit box and make it a proper import Done. Save, and check list. To update your covers in the future, and if any single covers go dead Simply repeat only step 3 to create a new CSS, upload it to Dropbox and replace the previous file. It will update the covers on your list here! Its that simple and fast! I'd recommend adding planned to watch anime before so you cover those ahead of time. Not working? If your import link isn't working right you probably misread a step in this tutorial. Make sure you have the right CSS type for your list (more or animetitle) as outlined in step 1. Also make sure you generated CSS for the correct list you're customizing (anime or manga list). If all your covers go dead, then the link may have been changed within your CSS, make sure it is still correctly coded as in step 5, and that your cover CSS file still exists and is in the same place in your Dropbox. If not, generate and upload a new one. If it's still not working you can ask in this topic! | Hey shishio-kun, I took a premade layout and changed it up, but the anime cover display shows a different cover than its suppose to. However, only one of the cover is wrong. I think it is the manga cover, I used blink and tried to over write the cover but it didn't work. | On the site, that anime has the right cover, so if you use the generator now and remove my cover import, it should change to the correct one. Otherwise, you can use the manual update information for that one cover: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=443333 |
| Man, I remember back when I had to edit covers for new anime titles the old-fashioned way. I thank Veriti so much for this program, after learning how to use it (thanks for the guide Shishio!), it takes literally less than 2 minutes to update covers whenever. Super fast and simple. |

This is for generating your own which is the solution to updating your covers from the defaults which only get updated every few months. And spoiler big images in the forum, no one wants it stretched to 2000px |
| I liked the themes created by Lirina. They are just amazing. Thank you (@Lirina). Sorry, for bringing this up now - I used the code mentioned in the post - http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1071911 but for some reason - it is giving some problems - can you please help me? I did try to tweak somethings to check whether the fixed the issue or not, but it seems my knowledge is insufficient. I only have the basic HTML knowledge. Since I'm don't have any knowledge of CSS at all, I used the code as it was. Did I miss something to do? I even changed the list preferences as mentioned there. | Blink isn't working. The only thing that appears is "Moved permanently" and " excepted ' ' but got '>' ". It was working just fine about a month ago. |

I am getting the same messages and have been for quite a while. I haven't yet found a suitable alternative: the linked alternatives at the top of this page seem mostly outdated... I was hosting my own lists through dropbox using Blink!, but I have used public resources in the past as well. My list uses the #more format for its covers. What are some functional alternatives? |

| Okay, let me try that. Edit: It worked! Sweet!! Thanks! Okay now I don't have to worry about other web sites breaking on me. only have to worry about dropbox breaking or just not worry at all (which for me, isn't possible) |
