| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was really cute for an episode. The OP song is decent too. Fujimiya is adorable imo and I understand that she wants friends, especially Hase. I think the two got along well too in the first episode. But seriously, I thought the first episode was adorable. Those blushes and just talking to each other like every other normal day <3. I'm glad this show is airing this season. Great way to relax and enjoy this series. Still, those lost memories ;.; |

| Keeps getting rejected just wanted to be friend (actually he loves her at the first sight) but he doesn't give up. Not only that she also rejected to help out with a classmate. She agreed on being a partner during lunch until Friday. She finally confessed it. His friend is nice. He realized instantly at her reaction on Monday, and decided to repeat saying that he wants to be friend. | This show wears its heart on its shoulder X ) Hase is much more empathetic as a main character in these types of stories when you see him put forth the amount of effort he does toward Fujimiya. He doesn't like the status quo so he wants to change it unlike a certain someone in another currently airing show... *cough cough* Nisekoi *cough cough* Hang in there Hase-kun! |

| Been waiting for this one to come out. Poor Fujimiya, having her memories reset every week. This was a relaxing episode. Hopefully Hase can be friends with her. |

| Just about to watch so I'll edit when I'm done, but damn I'm excited... So far, just from a minute in, the art is just... adorable. I love how the lines aren't "black" black. EDIT 1: EDIT 2: EDIT 3: FINAL THOUGHTS: If you like slice-of-life, romance, highschool, semi-realistic anime watch this one so hard. So far there are no comic relief over the top extremely annoying characters and that is just a blessing to me. All the characters are logical.. well as much as you can be in anime. Not to mention the art style is really cute and it's animated well. Can't wait for next week :-) <3 |

| such a great first episode. i love the art its so clean and pleasent to the eye and the music is just perfect for this show! very likeable characters (i always have issues with that). the name gave away why she couldnt make friends longer than a week but it doesnt matter since its revealed pretty soon. 5/5 hope it can stay interesting and i agree with _ultima_ on Kotoura-san ;) |

| Great start to the series. The art and the music did a pretty nice job of setting the mood. Fujimiya in this episode was portrayed wonderfully as well—so far it seems like she'd be as likeable in the anime as she is the manga for me, haha. |

| Really nice first episode the opening and ending songs were pretty nice as well. Its going to be nice to see the relationship develop between Kaori and Yuuki as the episodes go on. Need to start reading the manga as well. |
| Yes! The subs are now available, Although on a low quality version, I can't see an HD version of it right now. If someone got it, please send me a message. Hase really put much effort to get friends with Fujimiya, I had just read the manga yesterday and I got hooked on it! This 1st episode is a treat for me :D |

| Oh I've seen this type of story in a movie before (50 first dates, anyone?) and it seems quite interesting being pulled off in an anime. I get why the title is "One Week Friends" now. Will keep watching for sure, although I expected this to be shorter. |

| So much blush. I watched an episode of Kimi to Boku. right before this and the similarities were pretty outstanding. It took me awhile to warm up to Kimi to Boku. so this might be the same case for Isshuukan Friends. -- hopefully. [Having never read the manga] The series seems pretty predictable -- but obviously it's not supposed to be under some 'Mystery' tag. I can see myself getting bored with this unless there's a lot more humour involved (ie. more Shougo, please). The art style is soft and spot-on for its atmosphere (see: Kimi to Boku.) and it's the sole reason why I can't just give the series a purely average score. I'll stick around for awhile before it (most likely) ends up on my On-Hold list, watching episodes only when I /really/ have nothing else to do. 2.8/5. |

| Even though there are comedy aspects in here, I could sense some FEELS coming by in later episodes. The music was on point in every part, sensing some dramatic atmosphere around it. The episode was perfect, probably the best. The main characters are also likable, and I hope there development of being friends will improve on in later episodes. |

| Nice one for a first episode. I've been waiting for something bittersweet like this. It looks like a promising drama anime. It has been so long time since going through feels. This show will be great unless they won't ruin it with harem, ecchi type of things. Though it isn't possible I think. Let's wait and see. It looks really unique. |

| Well, I liked that first episode. Interested to see how the MC handles re-becoming this girl's friend every week. There seem to be faded edges at the side of the picture sometimes, and it's kind of weird, but other than that I like the art. I'm hoping they at least address the obvious "why doesn't she write things down" question. I can think of reasons why she'd still have trouble making friends but it was the first thing that came to mind when I started watching and I'd prefer if they gave those reasons (or whatever reason they came up with). |
