cool, i used to play rfactor too, but got bored of it. mostly just drifted with d1gp and project d drift mods on touge courses.

as for grp games. the main series shutokou, txr3 handle somewhat like a sim, and has lots of tuning, but you can say gameplay is more arcade like which is fine. txr0 was kind of like gt4 with the understeer. it's probably the 1st free roaming games. basically it's free roam, find rivals, flash lights, race with life bar.

kaido 3/txrd2 just blew everything away on ps2, and still is by far the best pure touge game ever. if you play with g25 or driving force wheel, it's really realistic. though still has the arcade style atmosphere. so it's definetly a must play imo. still use it to film most scenes for my fan made anime series.

as for the last genki racer i'll talk about, racing battle c1gp. this was japanese exclusive. basically its a combination of the shutokou series, and circuit racing, making it a lot of fun. not that realistic, but fun physics, since it oversteers a lot. Unlike any modern racer, drifting for points was actually fun. also this is the only game that lets you take pictures with an eye toy and use them as in game vynl.

thought i'd stop by and say hi. reading ur post. probably not too many car enthusiasts here, from reading ur msg.

here's hoping that genki starts making racing games again, since they are confirmed as a developer. things like forza and gt had nothing on genki racing project back in ps2 days.

driveclub does look shitty from what i saw

Haha, sure. I still think it's hard for me to feel identified with the male character when there's actually more than one main character, so I still think it's hard for me to like it, but I'll still gonna try it.

Thanks for the reviews. XD
(Just saw it was produced by Shaft. I really did swear I'd never watch anything from them again after Arakawa Under the Bridge and Monogatari Series, but still gonna give it a last try. XD)

Well, that's exactly one of the points I don't like either. This thing of 'multiple romance stories' on one single anime doesn't fit me. I think I'm more the 'harem-romance' type of guy.
Vacation Nov 5, 2014 4:26 PM
Ah, then no. I've been searching for a cool romance manga for like years, but found none so far (Unbalance X2 was kinda cool, but it was axed, so its end is really shitty as hell). All romances I find are shoujo-types, and I hate them, so I've been searching so far for one I could actually enjoy.

Yo! It's been a long while. How are you, man?

I saw you put some mangas as favorite ones, and I was thinking about reading those two, indeed. Could you give me your opinion about them?

How's romance in B Gata H Kei? I didn't like the idea of a girl trying to have many sexual partners as the main point of the plot, but how is it?

Hey, what's up? It's been a long time indeed!

Yea, I watched it these days. It's not a masterpiece, but it's one of those animes that you can watch to release your mind from complicated plots and watch something that's more light-hearted even being about a very serious romance.

The story is very easy to understand. A guy gets dumped by his girlfriend because she's dating another guy. By reading it, you may think that it's that old harem justification for a guy being single, but it's not. She says he has never loved anyone before, never felt bad for someone before, and that's why she met another guy who she's dating now.

The main character is a 28-years old guy that, at first, seems a little creepy. He's like a child in a grown-up body. He meets one day a 15-years old girl who, apparently, he falls in love for on first sight. On another day, he finds the same girl again while she's waiting for somebody, and after talking, he finds out she's very 'mature' (in a psychological way) for her age. After the two of them meet and talk for almost a day, he finds out that she's actually his sister who's moving in to the same house as he and his father lives.

Well, I can't say that the anime is a masterpiece, but it's something that you might enjoy watching if you're attachd to light-hearted romances. What is different is that it's indeed a seinen. It talks about complicated sides of living and loving someone who's not only 12 years younger than him, but also his blood-related sister (she's indeed his sister).

There's no fan service nor ecchi at all, so don't expect that. Part of the plot (4 episodes or so) is about they discovering their feelings for each other and thinking they may be with some mental problem (the guy, for example, masturbates one night thinking about his sister and that makes him get crazy).

It's a real psychological story, probably the most realistic one about real incest. Most people who hate it, do because it definitely breaks the so-loved-kawaii-incest-rule of most 'imouto' animes. The girl is indeed innocent, she's indeed a 15-years old who's discovering things about 'adult and loving' life, but mostly only about the complications that loving someone may cause.

That's what I think about it. Story is overall good (it has some flaws, but they're not that noticeable). Character development is good aswell (the main male character is the same for almost the whole anime, but the girl (his sister) gets developed a lot). Soundtrack and animation is not that good (since it's a rather old anime), and it ends the story with a happy ending (so, the story is complete).

Just finnished watching Cross Game and for sure it became one of my favorite animes, even not liking this whole thing of baseball. You should try too, it's a real cool light-hearted romance.

Yea, it's been quite a while since I watched it (almost 6 or 7 years, maybe), so I can't really remember how it was. I remember it being a quite nice anime, though.

Monster I tried to watch it, since it was so well recommended by everyone, but I don't know, it doesn't fit my style. Felt everything too slow.

Higurashi is being recommended by pretty much everyone who likes the animes I like, I may give it a try. And Fullmetal Alchemist I've already watched it. What's the difference between the series and that 'Brotherhood' one?
Vacation Aug 28, 2014 9:36 AM
Gonna finnish my profile today, trying to add everything I've watched now. XD
Vacation Aug 28, 2014 8:00 AM
Also, if you're still into romance, go watch Kimi no Iru Machi, seriously.
Vacation Aug 28, 2014 7:50 AM
It really depends on my mood. Nowadays, I've been watching a lot. Some I liked, some I didn't (this To Love RU is being a pain in the ass, to be honest, but I don't like dropping animes).

There a lot animes I didn't add to my list yet, so everytime I remember one I already watched, I put it there.

Right now I'm searching for any shonen/seinen that may not have romance in it, but has to have a thrilling story and some cool characters. Something to bring me the same feeling I had back when I watched Attack on Titan. Know any?
Vacation Aug 28, 2014 12:11 AM
If Clannad is anywhere as sad as Nagi no Asukara, I'm not watching it, thanks. >.>

And damn, all reviews I see are all about crying. Crying here, there, crying everytime. >_>

I'M AFRAID OF THAT!
