| This was awesome! I really enjoyed it. The ED was simple but quite nice. *thumbs up* CANT wait till next week!!! ArgHh. This is the type of anime that makes that week go real slow. |

| Definitely added to my must-watch list!! The episode is more awesome than I thought. Liked the BGM when the priest entered. It was kinda filled with suspense. Can't wait for the next ep. :D |
| Didn't meet my expectations (which may have been high) but was still pretty good. The artwork kind of mislead me. The ED theme was pretty good. Overall, a solid first episode. Looking forward to the next! |

| That was a great opening episode and I actually laughed out loud at a number of scenes. Originally got interested in this series because of DAT VOICE CAST and I haven't watched a good supernatural genre series in a loooong time. But really, I hope the rest of the series stay on par to the level of this first episode. Looking forward for more. |

| I don't particularly like how they deviated from the manga but I guess it wasn't too bad. I hope they don't mess around with it too much and keep the fillers to a minimum. |

| It's a standard shounen in many respects, but it actually looks very solid. While shounens may be dirt common, good ones really, really aren't. It's something I can always go for. I actually got a little of the feeling very early Bleach had, though I'd be hard pressed to pick out the reason. Of course, we all saw what happened with Bleach. The future is uncertain, but I've got pretty high hopes for this as a purely entertaining show. And while this normally isn't something I care that much about, the voice acting really impressed me in this episode. I like how all of the characters so far are being portrayed. |
| I've been waiting for this since I saw the commercials in January, definitely didn't disappoint. Despite the fact that the first half was essentially filler, it was good filler. It gave a more expanded look into Rin's life of suck than the manga did and expanded on the Father's character. The animation was good and I liked the VAs and soundtrack. |

| i think i can already see where this show is going. like everybody's already said, typical shounen. if my theories are right, then this is pretty much just like di(e)ce. AND DID ANYBODY ELSE SEE A TIDUS/JECHT-LIKE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RIN & HIS DAD??? OH MY GOD seriously, i love father/son relationships like theirs. =3= |

| There's never enough straight shonen action for my liking. This pretty much makes this a good season in my books. They admittedly deviated from the manga, but only in ways that stayed true to the spirit of the story imo, so it's all good. I don't demand that my adaptations be a hundred percent faithful. Merely that they don't in any way bastardize a good story. All good. All good. Gee. Now that I've got a taste I have a craving for more. Time to start ticking stuff off my "to Read" list I guess ;) |
