| Well, i was going to say that any differences from the manga to the anime are instantly outweighed by the milfservice in this ep, but after reading through the past 6 pages and seeing all the stuff they missed, im not so sure =/ changing the whole cake scene really makes keima look like a dick the entire episode, but i guess that'll appeal to you hardcore "omg keima is way too nice and blushes etc in anime" how just need to go back and re-read it anyways. >>; where was i going with this again? oh, right. keima's mom. damn. as if the more recent events in the manga didnt make me feel even sorrier for his dad, i REALLY feel sorry for him now, and have to wonder how keima can possibly be an only child. |

| I should have said somethings more of this episode, that is Elsie's part was really special to me in regards to those many hands when she was making the cake and the OST was great during that part. I am highly assuming that it the shadow of what looks like Haruhi that people made a remark about the reference to that anime. Also the Pokemon suggestion came to me also. Too bad she failed to notice that Keima only said what he said at the end because of his mom did to him in the second half. Keima's half was also good but the most important is to me  that he ate the cake at the end which means he liked it. Only thing was his mother interrupting him. Also think it was a bad move to repeat the fan service of the Keima's mother twice! They should have put the Elsie licking the cream off of Keima's face. |
| one was elsee licking off the cake. the other was the suggestion that keima was thinking for a bit of how to capture elsee, then realized shes not a target and he shouldnt (insert over-reaction piano playing). man i really wanted to see that piano playing in the episode. the episode was fine, itself. the author probably wanted to give us more screentime of keima's mom since she seems to be forgotten until later on where she pops back up. in response to the 'fan service twice' thing, it was an approach. to have at the beginning something that you did not expect and were confused on what is going on, make you question it throughout the episode, then everything clicks together at the end. (Part1: What was at the window? (also why a shower scene) Part2: Why did Keima say he didnt like sweets? Part3: What happen to the cake? Part4: Answer to all in one go, your mind connects them together into 1 giant story) although the cake licking brings a better development between elsee and keima (since elsee isnt a capture target, these break chapters are character developments for her and keima). |

| well since the author himself storyboarded this episode he mustve wanted to give keima's mom some screentime so we dont forget about her (like i said, she pops back randomly sometimes after you forget about her. the same goes for keima/elsee's lecturing for going out late in kanon's arc.) its hard to do the episode with keima+elsee if you include their mom, since all these events happen at school and doesnt involve their mom at all. cant really put it at the start with the lunchbox, since the mom would question about it, which is like an unwritten rule for others to question the story unless they are important. to those who want the summary of what happened in the manga for this sidestory chapter instead of reading it for yourselves. just click here (since i was writing something else and changed my mind) |

| Felt like a filler, but I enjoyed it, Elsie was a bit dumb and Keima distant but smart. The mom though, she is just weird. I kind of hope the lunch box is a continuing character. |

| Keima has awesome mother. xD I loved that part when she was worrying about him and when remembered that she wasn't any better in school. Like mother, like son. xD I almost fell from my chair after that phone conversation with English teacher and Keima's mother. Seeing more of Elsie is always a plus for me, so I really enjoyed this episode. ^^ |
| I really enjoyed this episode. It took a chance with an interesting plot line and really pulled it off. I always appreciate shows that take chances especially when they turn out succesful. It was also quite funny. |

| Keima's mom is hot and a boss. Lol at how she just opens the window when she realizes someone is outside not even caring that she's naked. Also lold at the dragon getting owned by the lunch box. The rest of the episode was alright. Still better than 4 imo. Kinda weird how Keima can't run but he was able to ride his bike with Mio in a carriage(That got bigger each day) attached to it. |
