* Name ananime that you absoulutely will NOT watch, regardless of it's hype or the vast number of recommendations you recieved from other fans.

* For me, it has to be Angel Beats! It just looks far too Moe and awful to even consider finishing even though iv'e had so many people tell me to watch. I say NAY!

TTGL- I tried so hard to watch this horrible show I heard so much hype, just to be let down, but by ep 10 I just said fuck it...

Code Geass- the animation style of this show makes me cringe I tried watching it when it came on CN and I tried numerous times to watch and like this show, but it was just boring.

One Piece- Pirates, I hate pirates.

Tiger & Bunny- I'm 21 years old, I think I've grown out of my super hero phase.

Hetalia-No, just no...

That just depends on if One Piece is a bad anime or not. And it's actually really good, those were the best darn 500 episodes worth of time I've spent on an anime I'll tell ya that much! Naruto would be a little more appropriate considering it's the same length and it's pretty awful.

So far I refuse to continue watching Slayers, way too corny and outdated for me. I could see it being pretty good if I was watching it 15 years ago as a 10 year old kid or something.

Angel Beats and Clannad/Afterstory.

I refuse to watch Angel Beats because I certain friend of mine essentially spoiled the whole series so no use watching it. And Clannad because I just don't find it interesting at all. Even though Clannad is so heavily recommended by so many people I just don't see what's so special about it.

Well, if that's your only reason, you should probably rethink it. There's nothing particularly moe about it, but it's a very good comedy for the first part and it has some unbelievable tearjerkers... I never once thought of this series or any character as "moe", where did that idea come from...?

Space-Time said:

Well the CLANNADs literally changed my life and I consider them to be the greatest anything in existence, so yeah, I think there IS something special about it. But you're free to have your opinion.

But not to get off-topic:

- EVANGELION. I have no idea what it is, but it's a mecha anime and I heard it tries to be oh-so-incredible by making "religions references" (boy, never thought I'd put those two words together).

- ANY INCEST ANIME. Seriously, what's wrong with you people! I have siblings and believe me, it's not just wrong, it's just idiotic!

- K-ON SEQUELS/MOVIES/SPECIALS/WHATEVER. Now that's an example of being forcibly moe (and failing BTW) and not giving the audience anything else. No funny jokes, no likable characters, nonexistent plot, nothing to look at (eve though again - they're trying and trying way too hard) - it was one of the worst I've seen.

- YURI/YAOI/SHOUNEN AI/SHOUJO AI SHOWS. 'Nuff said.

Also, horrors and other things with gore (can something gore not be a horror though?).

How could you know for sure if you haven't actually seen it? To be honest, I thought the same as you at one point, but after a long time, I got around to seeing it and am glad I did. It isn't the best anime ever, but it is a very well-written and memorable one indeed. Besides, it's not a huge time commitment at just under 50 episodes, if you include both seasons. If you enjoyed 5 Centimeters per Second and Welcome to the NHK! because of their plot, then I think you'd enjoy Clannad. Just a suggestion.

Naruto Shippuden

Mostly because of time reasons. I am reading the manga for One Piece more or less so that saves some time. And Naruto Shippuden stands here because I watched all of Naruto, but had some kind of a break from anime and I'm just not that interested enough anymore to actually wanna catch up on Shippuden. Even If I had the time...there are still so many shows on my HDD, that I really wanna watch and that I'm more interested in.

I just thought I'd say that LoGH is nothing like NGE. The former plays out like a war novel while the latter is a character study. If it's any consolation, LoGH doesn't get bashed for annoying characters unlike NGE so there's something to consider.

As for the topic, it's definitely Queen's Blade and Ikki Tousen. I tried watching Queen's Blade a while back but the lack of subtlety on the fanservice finally got to me while the only thing I can say about Ikki Tousen is that I prefer its yuri counterpart in Koihime Musou. Alternatively, there's everything in my dropped list...

Aside from any of the other long running shounen anime like Naruto and One Piece, I absolutely refuse to watch loli-con anime such as Kodomo no Jikan and heavy fanservice shows like Queen's Blade and Highschool of the Dead, as well as useless and uneccessary sequel OVA's/reboots like Iczelion, Gall Force: New Era, and Gall Force: The Revolution, and badly rated anime like Garzey's Wing and Reign the Conquerer.

Other shows I refuse to watch are Hakuoki, K-ON!, Lucky Star, and Victory Gundam.

Also Clannad After Story, I only support Tomoya with Tomoyo.

Just a word of advice. If the anime you refuse to watch is a shonen, don't ever watch it. I tried to get into Bleach but gave up after 20 episodes because nothing ever happens in the show. K-On! is a more substantial show. In the first 13 episodes, Yui joins a club, starts a band, meets new people and performs at several concerts. It's very empty but it's obvious that she's learning from what limited experiences she's having. In the first 20 episodes of Bleach nothing happens. It's all just a plotless mess with ugly visuals and boring fight scenes filled to the brim with cheesy drama. It's the same with me watching Naruto. How long has Naruto been chasing Sasuke now? Anyway, it used to be those two shows but I watched them mostly so I could provide fair criticism on some of the finer points. But in the end, I then found out that both shows were exactly what I though they were

Back on to the point I would pick One Piece (I don't hate it, it's just way too long), every Hentai movie ever and Ikkitousen

One Piece for sure. I'm sure it's a fantastic series if there's still such a strong following after 600 some episodes, but it's just impossible for me to feel enthusiastic about trying to catch up on a series that has so many episodes in and shows no sign of ending.

I'm on the border about LOGH. I've convinced that it must have some killer story, but the art, coupled with the length are both major turn offs for me. I'm not exactly sure if I could appreciate its story either (but that I'm not sure of as I haven't really looked into the plot/synopsis/etc).

The first 20 episodes were the introduction arc, it gets better gradually from episode 21 on-wards when they enter Soul Society, SS arc is the best arc in Bleach anime, so give it a couple more episodes (it ends at ep.63), at least wait until the captains are introduced.

For me I refuse to watch any Yaoi or Yuri anime, and of course Boku no Pico. I might also avoid Moe anime and fan-service everywhere anime, I'm not really interested in animated cute girls/cute guys doing cute things, nor in animated boobs bouncing everywhere.

This and LOGH ( Which I ironically still have on my ptw >_> )

After my last marathon of a 100+ ep anime ( Fairy Tail ), I'm not going through that again. Would rather spend my time watching 5-10 different shows.

I've already heard how great both of them are from a lot of people, but it's just far too long. No doubt if I watched One Piece earlier ( Like I did with Naruto and Bleach when they were only ~50 episodes in ), I would have loved it.

Well if you don't watch it you wont know what's special about it. It may or may not suit your tastes, but its better to try it out just to see what the big deal is.

There's plenty of anime I ended up liking because I gave it a shot. Madoka being a prime example since it's about magical girls. At first I was like wtf? Then I watched it and ended up liking it.

Personally i dont abolutely refuse to watch anything at all, if someone recommends me it then id say its worth a try no matter how bad it may sound. everything is worth a try to me, if i dont like it then thats that then if i do fantastic. just watching an episode or 2 isnt really a significant amount of time so i dont consider it wasted if i dont like it, what i do is prioritise things rather than say NO IM NOT WATCHING IT as i may actually like it,if you refuse to watch something you could be missing out on something you may enjoy a lot.

For example, originally i thought i would hate one piece, but one day i decided to give it a chance and i actually really like it, another thing i was a bit sceptical about was haruhi but it turned out i liked that also :) seriously guys dont let annoying/bad/obsessive fandoms make you miss out on potentially good shows ^_^

I generally dont look for shows that have ridiculous fanservice but if a friend or someone recommends its good ill at least give it a go. i tried out highschool dxd but i didnt really like it and stopped after episode 3 or so, just helps me find out more what i like and what i dont liek and helps me pick a better suited series further down the road :)

Although i refuse to watch hentai but thats not considered anime more like porn xD

There's probably a lot of moe shit or shojo shit that I would give a 1-2 but here's a couple of more popular and well receieved series that I won't watch:

Reborn because it looks like by far the stupidest shonen, my friend already told me it was bad

Phantom because I heard horrible things about it, and I also end up didn't caring for other anime series that try do be «dark», but are actually bad and don't have anything worth caring for the story

Macross doesn't appeal me, I'd rather watch all of the UC Gundam instead

I generally have quite a good idea of what I will like and what I won't like. A couple months ago, Elfen Lied was my definite won't watch and when I actually gave it a try, it became the worst anime I've ever seen.

Again, the first 20 episodes are the introduction arc, they were the worst and stupidest thing I've ever seen myself, it gets better and better as it goes by, starting from episode 25. I'm not saying to watch it, but I think it's just unfair rating long-running series based on their first 20+ episodes, especially those with a long introduction arc, and has 200+ episodes.

Anything that revolves around gay love/sex etc.
NEETs (No Employment Education Training) are the least desirable people anybody would want to hire and yet they are the first choice to become moderators/admins around the internet. They have yet to have established a sense of responsibility or role in society and many are plain leeches (with minor exceptions). They are given "authority" to police sections of the internet with the powers of The Judge, Jury, and Executioner. Isn't that weird?
