It really isn't a loss that the game isn't brought to the west (and that comes from someone who likes the main DoA games) but it's more about the fact that some random people on twitter apparently have power to make companies decide not to localize a game. It's true that the game is basically voyeurism with bits of mini games like beach volleyball, so it's not like they can censor something when the game is just fap material. People might just call it slippery slope, but the fact that this happened might affect some other releases eventually. Of course, it won't be major releases like Bayonetta, but niche games. On the bright side, it was the developer's decision not to localize it, and not a result of actual butthurt on twitter. |
