| Sakura claiming that the power of friendship and stuff makes you win, but really it's a case of "having Botan on your team makes you win". I wonder if their fifth was the seal... Or perhaps it was Furuhashi? They had 6 seats at the restaurant after all. Got to feel sorry for Suzaku's misplaced devotion, too. |

| Botan's kick was just unexpected and so was the soccer match. I actually got confused and slightly spooked by that fifth relay runner business. Then those credits kicked in. Episode was alright. |

I really missed the hilarity of this show last week T_T It was pretty obvious from the start that they wouldn't lose Karen no matter what xD Even if they managed to somehow lose lol at Botan's number 1 fan supposedly being a mortal enemy. This show really does not know how to disappoint~ |
| Did the face paint at the beginning remind anyone else of Kanako from Nyan Koi? Either way, I loved the soccer "match". It was more of a chance for them to show how unnecessarily strong Botan is. XD Then there's that one line "recover the sniper". I died. |

| According to the official Kitakubu website, Episode #11 will be next Thursday, as expected. There were lots of heartwarming moments in this episode. Too bad that Botan didn't have better fashion sense when she was in junior high school. It would have been wonderful to see Karin become the team manager for the boys' soccer team. Too bad that they forfeited. |

| It was so obvious that Botan would win them the match, so while I did enjoy that, the part that I really liked was how Claire ordered a sniper! of all things. Subtext, good jokes, man I'm gonna miss KKK once it's over. 5/5. |

| Pretty good episode. Not as funny as some of the others but it had it's moments. | This was the most funny episode so far i really enjoyed it. It started with the tsundere joke up till the point of Claire's sniper it was a good laugh with some great moments. And it seems Karin means business to the girls to react like that. |

| I happened to come across this article on the history of "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things" (CGDCT) anime series: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=390439 I'll try to define CGDCT as follows: (1) The main characters are girls. (2) The girls are cute. (as opposed to realistic) (3) The primary basis of interest is that the girls simply do cute things. (4) The events are is NOT based on some major purposeful activity, such as being magical girls, superheroes, fighters, becoming pop idols, starting a new girl band or a being in a tournament. (5) The events are not driven by some over-arching dramatic story. (6) The anime is based on real life, in the present, normally in Japan. (7) The anime does not rely on non-realistic features such as magic or time travel or mechas. I am not claiming that my definition of CGDCT is the right one or the best one. Feel free to introduce your own. Don't confuse the term CGDCT with the term "moe". They have different meanings. However, the characters in CGDCT anime are very often "moe". But I should mention that I often see "moe" defined as "cute girls doing cute things". I disagree with this because (1) a moe anime could have lots of male characters (2) the girls might be moe yet not be doing cute things. Based on this, CGDCT started in 2001 with Kokoro Library. Since then, there have been lots of great CGDCT series. However, I believe that the trend has pretty much run its course, and people are sick of CGDCT and want to move on to other things. So there is very little demand for CGDCT so that anything that is made now has to be produced on the cheap. For these reasons, I think that Kitakubu will be the last great CGDCT anime series. For the hard core CGDCT fans among you, you are always free to re-watch Azumanga Daioh. Here are some highlights of CGDCT over the years: 2001 Kokoro Library / ココロ図書館 / Kokoro Toshokan 2002 Azumanga Daioh 2004 Lucky Star 2004 Maria Sama Ga Miteru 2005 Strawberry Marshmallow / 苺ましまろ / Ichigo Mashimaro 2005 Best Student Council / 極上生徒会 / Gokujō Seitokai 2006 High School Girls / Girl's High / 女子高生 2009 Kanamemo 2009 Sasameki Koto / ささめきこと / Whispered words 2011 A-Channel 2011 Nichijou / 日常 / Nichijō 2011 Yuru Yuri / ゆるゆり 2012 Joshiraku 2013 Yuyushiki 2013 Kitakubu Some of you may enjoy Non Non Biyori which starts on October 7th. I have looked at the manga. I don't want to give away spoilers of criticize it. But I will say that I believe that Kitakubu seems to me to be the final chapter of the great tradition of CGDCT which has spanned a dozen years. |

| As some of you already mentioned before, the 6th member appeared several times, 3 times in record 33.5 (around 10:59, 11:12 and 11:18), in restaurant (around 10:10) and finally in sport festival, as the one who received the stick from Natsuki (19:50 and 19:52).
