Winry said it herself, it's the day they burned their house and left. They have to remember that they have a goal to accomplish, and they can't look back.

I like how Dramatic Armstrong was in this Episode. He was really Funny! I also like how he always had those Sparkles surrounding him!

I like how they included all those FlashBacks in the Episode, especially that one about the Light Beam thing.

I was kinda confused on what exactly Edward wanted to remember about the day he left home with his Brother. Perhaps he simply wanted to remember the Day he left his old life and his innocence behind to start anew....Or maybe he wanted to remember the day that he vowed he would set things right.... I honestly don't know....

Another thing that Confused me was Al's Memory Loss Problem. Just what exactly is Ed trying to hide from Al? It's starting to Worry Me.... :(

Overall, Very Nice Episode! ^_^

excellent episode :D

it showed us how strong the bond between Edward and Alphonse

Armstrong is really strong and kind :)

pretty badass, he did gave the match to Edward and Alphonse.

wow Winry is tall and sexy now :)

and what is Ed hiding to Al?? is it about memories that he can't seem to remember??

i actually thought it had something to do with the Transmutation that he did with Ed and only he can remember him.

and yeah the light scene was warmful ^^

Ed didn't reveal how Winry's parents died though, maybe sometime in the near future episodes??

awesome stuff, now get to the main story line now ^^

Winry really didn't look like someone from the 1910s but I'm not sure female mechanics looked like back then anyway.

Louis Armstrong is always a treat. Not sure why they gave him that middle name but it makes me chuckle.

Even the dog laughed at the short jokes xD Did anyone else notice that?
I hope Ed and Al go home more often. I miss seeing Winry!

Armstrong reminds me so much of Ichiya from Fairy Tail. I swear, if he starts talking about "parfums"...xD

Anyways, excellent episode.

I don't think he sleeps, since he doesn't have a body that needs to rest and repair itself overnight. I guess he doesn't dream, by extension. Also I don't think he ages either, because he still has the voice and traits of a little kid, but this can be argued since he actually seems to have very mature moments, sometimes more than Ed. He's able to comprehend things that a little kid might not quite get, but it wouldn't make sense for him to age because he has no body or brain to develop. So that's arguable.

This was one of those episodes that has no real action in it, but still manages to provide lots of deep content. Always great to see Winry, and loved that they pretty much showed that Al and Ed have a home after all, even if they don't completely realize it yet. And Armstrong was hilarious in this ep. I didn't like him much at first, but he's really grown on me.

I want to know about Al's memory problems and what Ed was going to tell him. It's worrisome! -- 4/5

Interesting episode despite appearances may suggest the contrary, the main plot takes a back seat and we are left with the personal story of the two protagonists and the mysteries that lie still, satisfied. Pleasant comedy, Armstrong is too cool once again.

This episode makes Ed seem extremely unlikable. Over the space of four years he never visits Winry or Pinako in Resembool and won't even write a single postcard. These are the people that literally saved his life when he was on the verge of death yet he takes them for granted. The Elric brothers come across as entitled little children with emotional issues that have no empathy or love for the two women that literally saved them from death and nursed them back to health.
