| less action here, but did not disappoint i cannot wait till i get my hands on the OST. Genius Index was fabulous. the angel summoning was interesting. bunny index was cute xD loli sensei looks like a nice character..... she would have been a really nice loli if she didn't smoke... i loved the interactions between touma and index this episode. index is so moe. it was interesting to hear the background on magic, and the necessarius lol @ index' weapon being her fangs xD the fight between touma and kanzaki should be very interesting next episode. overall, it was an entertaining episode. not so much in action, but in character development. definitely one of my top choices this season. |

| they got the awesome adult loli, super moe cute index, big budget special effects fights, and now some boobie-samurai, and everything looks so great, even the story and idea of the grimoires and the rest of it isn't bad but it's still boring! oh god, i wish i could just switch my brain to shallow and don't care about it. |

I learned mainly........UNIVERSAL MAGIC.......let's leave it at that. THERE IS RPG CRAP! Although the information from RPG is interesting about the whole occult things. | A tad boring but still a very necessary episode in order to explain the story and build up suspense for the next few episodes. According to the preview, was Kaori the one that gave Index those slash wounds? I can't wait to find out. |

| This series is just... very good. Even if I am not a fan of the comedy/romance style, I find the direction really well done as well as the script which is actually original and very well executed. On top of that, this anime has a true and unique atmosphere that sets it apart from other shows, and the music & animation are not half bad either. I'm pretty surprised by this show, I didn't expect anything of it, and each individual episode for now has been great, so I guess we can call it a success ;) Sleezy said: I love Kanzaki. | Slow exposition episode. It wasn't boring, just not as entertaining as the first two. This exposition was absolutely needed though, for all the people like me who haven't read the manga. I like the relationship that's developing between Touma and Index, it feels like they are siblings. |
| Very enjoyable episode. The healing ritual was done in a great way. Also, wow, Index seems like the cutest character this season. |

| The episode was a bit slow, but there was a lot of interesting moments during the ritual including the melting into the floor scene. And what's this? A character with boobs has finally shown up! |

| Yeah I guess it was just Kanzaki giving off that bleach vibe, with the katana and the clothing style and all that. Oh and I'd like to add, I used to hate the lolisensei before this ep, now I just think she's adorable. |

| Honestly the best so far is the second half of the second episode and the first half the of the third episode. That thing was just as dark and mysterious as I imagined it would be. | I love how Index asks for a beautiful angel and Sensei repeats "Kawaii Tenshi" 20 times. I was banging on my desk cracking up when Sensei was arguing. And how can you guys think this is a slow episode? There was lots of development from everybody. |

| The scene with the ritual healing felt like it went on forever, but it was animated beautifully and actually managed to maintain my interest which is not an easy thing to do. I'm looking forward to the next episode. The battle between Touma and Ranzaki looks pretty intense. |
| I love this anime so far!! The OP is really great, I am a huge fan of Mami Kawada. Index is uber kawaii. I didn't think so at first but she is starting to grow on me ^^ |

| Oh my, that was actually pretty good. Index is damn cute when she's angry. >:3 She just bites Touma. Although I didn't really get the stuffs about the Necessarius and magic shit, I still loved this episode. Also, that girl with the sword was pretty hot. Plus, A rune that seal other people away was just like a fuuzetsu from SnS, I wonder what power does that hot girl have. Also, that ritual was also interesting. Index really knows those grimoires. Komoe sensei was also cute. I just can't get enough of her loliness. No Mikoto in this episode though. It saddens me. :( |
| I have to admit that the healing thing was kind of creepy .And the explanation of the magic societies was pretty good, but I still don;t understand what is actually happening. For some reason I feel like something bad is going to happen to that Sensei. I hope not, she is rather interesting. Can't wait to see the next episode! |
