| Honestly the community is pretty good. I think its best point is the fact that you can actually have intelligent discussions. The Moderation is a little bit different though. Most of the other forums I've been to the Mods are pretty active in the community and post often. They also explain why a threads been moved or why a post has been removed. I haven't been here long so maybe they do give warnings and I just haven't seen any mods around because their names aren't color coded. I don't know, but from what I've seen they just kinda lurk in the shadows waiting to eliminate any poor sap who doesn't adhere to the rules...like ninjas...With ban Hammers Sniper Rifles. Not necessarily a bad thing but.... |

| I don't mind it, it can be pretty cozy at times. But it feels like no-one can tolerate negative thoughts regarding a series, since it will only result in the typical "don't watch it/lolololol" response. It's as if anime should be considered God's gift to mankind sometimes. |

What you referred to displays the absurdity of r/atheism, r/funny, r/F7U12, and most other subreddits that are on the usual front page. There are, of course, subreddits that make a trip to reddit worthwhile: r/askscience, r/skeptic, r/space, etc. |

| Lots of interesting people. I can get with more than half of them I guess. Some I find pretty stupid though, mainly because of how close minded they can be especially when they have not much anime experienced and get offended easily if you dare legitimately criticize their beloved anime. Well, it's like criticizing religion or politics for some I guess. When you take it too seriously you can't really discuss anything about it I guess. Whatever, I avoid those kind of people. |

They're usually just your general anime threads that are forgotten so it's not much issue in the end. Though one think I've noticed lately is the huge increase of negative anime topics. Most hated, worst, etc. etc... Meh. |

| The community is....er...colourful, I suppose. There is that spiked fascinationl in philosophy, religion and ethics but I guess that's to be expected from people on this forum, presumably young adults, teens, and such, searching for their answers in life. And rightly so, I suppose. |

Such ignorance to that said individual will cause nothing but conflict, the type of which few would dare show in real life. Sure they might be justified in labelling them and attacking them so, but why not just be a nice guy eh. Nobody can cause any real harm with their nonsense or idiocy over the internet, what right have you got to emotionally crush them and degrade them. Such narcissism from the the supposedly sensible ones is obvious. I mean what kind of person that truly loves anime is a bad guy. Some people are just taciturn or don't know how to express themselves properly. I have witnessed kindness, humility, happiness, joy and pleasantries being exchanged left, right and centre. Why not consider the individual for his true self and nature, why not consider the implications your actions will have on that someone. Would you attack a stranger on the street just because you disagree with him. I think people just need to learn to be more socially adept and I think people would start to listen and learn if only the more respectable ones would lead the way. Just have a laugh, be nice and friendly because then, everybody wins. I may sound like a hypocrite to those of you who have spoken with me before but god how I’m going to change that and god how I’m going to enact just what I have said here.
