| The TV adaption was one of the most beautiful examples of completely destroying the emotional impact and great pacing of the first 10 episodes of this 11 episode anime. Episode 11 was crying for the sake of crying and felt so fake and forced. Beauty is in brevity and the 15 minutes of crying really just got boring... Episode 1-10 was solid and struck an emotional chord in me. Change how the ending was handled and we'd have a winner. |

Though I just hate the part they are going to make a movie out of it (movies are so short), it would be nice if the rest of the gang will have their own point of view so that we will really know what is going on and how their story started. So, whether it is boring or not I will be the judge of that :) |

| Oh, I'm curious. I liked the anime, though it wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I'm not sure what a retelling would do though.. I mean, from Menma's point of view is interesting, but I'm afraid it would just be literally the same thing all over again? This could go entirely wrong or entirely right. Wonder which one it'll be! Even if it's a new story, I can't help but feel an OVA would be more appropriate. I'm a big fan of Ano Hana but it seemed that they ended the anime well and I can;t help but feel that this isn't gonna end well... |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
