| It depends on who will be making it I've read that it could be Junichi Satou (he made first series) or Ikuhara Kunihiko (he later) and both of them can do pretty crazy things - but they could also choose some unknown director (but one of those above or both doing series would be awesome) I only hope they won't go into mature = fanservice... but some good old mindf*ck that we all love ;) |

| I absolutely loved the manga when I was a kid, long after the anime series had aired. And I always hoped and dreamed that they would remake the series in modern anime quality, faithful to the original manga, but I knew the chances were slim to none. It's literally a dream come true to see this happening! |

| Well I read somewhere that the new version will be made for the old school fans (not for children) So I expect more edgy and mature storylines C: But I still think it's gonna be a remake loyal to the manga. |

The manga has some yuri signs but unlike many animes it never goes beyond body touching or a kiss so it's all good. The fan mangas <_< though are another story of adulthood. All I know is after Pluto was declared not a planet humanity just went downhill. Anywayss, I never watched Sailor Moon as a kid, never really cared for it tbh. I hope the new anime will cover the whole manga like the original. I mean, I hope they won't just decide to animate only the first season & then the end. And a faster pace would be better; Without all those 'random' episodes, SM is much shorter. Also I hope that they will show the outer senshi of Sailor Galaxia as well, because they didn't appeared in the anime. Anyway, I am very excited about this since Sailor Moon is one of my favorite anime. |

Rayana said: New seiyuus please. Some will re appear for sure. I doubt the inner senshi will not appear on this one and about the outer, we can be sure Haruka's seiyuu will come back too. Villains, cats and any other senshi, I can't be sure. As long as the main cast return then its ok for me. |

| can't wait to see it. Sailor Moon was the show and it kinda got me into anime (along with speed racer and gundam wing and tenchi muyo). i'm glad they decided to have it follow the manga. I didn't like how they portrayed Rei and Chibi usa in the anime and they left out a whole bunch of important facts. Plus the romance between Usagi and Mamoru was a lot stronger in the manga than it was in the anime, but likewise i'm glad they're remaking the anime and that it's closely following the manga. i miss this show so much. p.s. pluto will always be a planet in my eyes and Sailor Moon just won't be the same without Sailor Pluto. Not to mention Pluto serves a much more serious role in the manga than how the anime portrayed her. Same with Saturn, so it just wouldn't be the same without Sailor Pluto or Sailor Saturn. |

| I'm so happy it's getting a new anime! So I'm guessing the 2013 anime will follow more closely to the manga. Now that I'm reading the manga (and waiting for the next volume to come out) I really hope all (well, not all because I already know that Sailor Star Fighter's voice actress died) the seiyuu would reprise their old roles. Since the manga was published on a monthly basis, I'm kinda worried that the anime would feel a little too rushed. |
| One of the best news I heard of the 2000's Sailor Moon is my girl, she revealed my love and interest in Anime, Manga and Japanese language and culture !! LOVE the show since 1993 AND STILL a supporter !! And of course HELL NOOOOO you can't change the VA it is just iMPOSSIBLE from Sailor Moon to Sailor Star healer all these seiyuu should remain the same except for Sailor Star Fighter God bless Niiyama-san !! |

| I can only vaguely remember watching the series when I was a little kid. Those were the dark ages of anime for me, when the time slot was moved to a later time and I couldn't watch anime anymore because my parents were home and I would not have heard the end of their lecture. So, I'm looking forward to the new airing. I should check out the manga too while I'm at it. |

| I'm so excited for this! I hope SMC is subbing it though, because most of the old groups that did the original series are defunct now. And as much as I respect Commie, Underwater, etc. for what they do, I wouldn't want them anywhere near Sailor Moon. |
