Drink a glass of lysergic acid, ram you head a few times against the wall, then run outside and get run over by a garbage truck.

You should be able to forget.
The Internet is a very bad place, you should never go there.

Depends, most of the time I can just forget it by watching depending on how dramatic the spoiler is.

Like code geass for example

This ^... YouTube titles, comments, AMVs, all are BAD.

Also sometimes comments on videos on other sites but mostly YouTube...

And to keep on topic........ I really can't forget :\.. It always comes up in my mind.

Well, I can't forget spoilers once I see them, really. Which is why if I'm about to watch/read something, I avoid any possible way for me to see spoilers. I first watch/read what I want to see myself, instead of the spoilers ruining it lol.

It really depends on what genre of anime. I mean, if it's something like a Fairy Tail spoiler then no biggie. However, if it's something that takes up a lot of build-up and suspense, I am going to rage extremely hard. I don't deliberately seek out spoilers, but it seems as if I am just cursed to get at least one show per season spoiled. Last season, I got spoiled THE HECK outta Another, a flipping mystery/thriller show. Ruined the whole experience.

But on the other hand, I got spoiled about Code Geass's ending and that really didn't affect my experience much. It really does depends on what type of anime you get spoiled on.

Oh, and yes, I agree - YouTube comments are extremely evil. I made the mistake of scrolling down to the comments of Mirai Nikki's OP... BAM. Spoiler smack dab right there. However, I would usually expect that there wouldn't be any spoilers in the episode discussions of MAL, and that's why I scan through them - that's where I got my Another spoiler. Sigh. I can't really blame anyone, there are a lot of new people after all.

I like reading comments under anime videos because you get to see how others feel about the episode. Still, some low-lives purposely plant spoilers there. If I see a character name I usually tread cautiously.

If I see a spoiler, chances are my friend Michael showed it to me, or I saw it on Tumblr. If the former, I just give him a smack on the back of the head and swear at him. If the latter, I GTFO of the tag I'm in, or if it's on my Dash, I close the tab.

Depending on how big the spoiler was and how much I wanted to watch the show, it may just stop me from watching it altogether.

Alot of the time spoilers start out with: "When.....X.....". As soon as I see that, I skim read incredibly fast for word's like 'die', etc. If I see those words, I stop reading. Has actually prevented spoiling a few episodes before.

Avoiding discussions about anime you are watching is the best thing to do. Though if you let your mind wander on other matters for a long time it will forget it

If it's for a show I haven't even seen yet then it's easy to just forget it since it doesn't make sense in the first place. If it's something I'm watching, well, it can't be helped.

Unless it's a name I've heard before or the show is wellknown, I can usually forget it pretty quickly. In some cases however, it has been pretty much impossible and I keeps remembering it every time I hear of the show even though I haven't even watched it.

The worst ones was probably
in both Cowboy Bebop and Katanagatari. Man, that haunted me to no end.

In any case, Snape kills Dumbledore!

My problem with spoilers could probably be prevented by just not opening the spoiler tags.
Which I just did.
Ugh, I hate myself.

It doesn't bother me unless I really wanted to see the movie. Either way, I can't forget it no matter how much time passes. I still remember Jay Leno spoiling Titanic's ending. That was 14 years ago. :/

I always click spoiler tags, I'm just too curious. Luckily I usually read them quickly and unless it's really blunt like "The main character dies" I usually don't understand it or process it properly. Then later when I finish the series, the spoiler suddenly comes back to me and I realize, oh that makes sense now.

Often it's not spoilers, but simple comments about a show that I'm watching that stick with me the whole way through and can completely change my opinion of a show. For example, pointing out a huge flaw that I never noticed, but then start to look for in every episode.

Depends on what type of spoiler it was. If it was of someone dying, then chances are, you will forget, but when you start watching the anime, you will remember again. Basically, you cant. Just got to live with it. I tend to run into the washroom screaming when I get spoiled harshly. :D

It really depends on what spoiler, if it was just a minor spoiler like a character dying, then it doesn't effect much, if it was something big, then i just keep reading/watching it until I catch up. From my view seeing something shows more than just reading/hearing what someone says

I read spoilers.... all the time. The details in the character pages are usually bombarded with them, even currently airing series. Can not resist. I can't forget them afterwards, but it doesn't really matter much to me anymore since it's impossible to avoid spoilers if your active forum user posting in the pages.

I have a bad habit of purposely looking for spoilers. I like to know things, but to me personally it doesn't usually ruin it much for me due to it playing out differently in your head then what is actually put out for production. I understand peoples frustrations though when people just spout out spoilers to try to ruin it for others.

I never really forget, but just by watching anime and reading manga.
Basically just by being on the computer. I'll forget and remember, but after 2 months I usually forget.

But when I'm at the point of watching the spoiler, I remember.
But not to the point that my brain feels "spoiled" in a way that the whole thing is ruined.

Because I can take suprise spoilers ^^
Even though I don't want them most of the time.

I don't usually mind, as long as it's something small like a character dying, or the like.

I was actually planning on make a similar thread to this but a bit differently, you see I have this bad habit of sometimes purposely reading spoilers about a series I'm watching, and it's happens quite often with me.

You see I don't think it actually ruins my experience that much, I prefer it most often since I have something to look forward too etc.

My sister is similar to me as well (and so is my mom although that isn't about anime, more about things like TV Soaps and such) so maybe it's just a thing in my family.

But I always wondered if there were any others like that.

I do the same thing. xD Because I get excited .

Yea that's sort of how it is.

I always read spoilers, I don't know why.

For example, I'm watching Nana at the moment, only half-way ish through it and...

But it doesn't at all ruin the experience.
