That guy who hung upside down is dead?? (but he never showed on screen)

lol @ the guy's description on the huge bowl of beef bowl. About progression.

Kuma in the world with them?

lol~ Kuma in human form? Or rather, human in Kuma!! He left the head and left.

The guy acting weird and is going to attack the cousin girl? The guy saved her on time.

lol @ the head and the kid crying. Not only that, the head is being sold!!

Human Kuma is such a pretty guy, but he doesn't know about himself. lol! he's working at mascot!!

That guy, a detective who recently supporting police, is in front of the idol girl's shop? He mentioned that the victim is not on the TV.

That idol girl, another tsundere girl again from Kugimiya-san?, thanked everyone for saving them.

New teacher has huge breast... That guy who attacked the cousin girl is aiming for the miko girl... And that guy wrote on the forum that he's the suspect of the incident?? The detective showed up and it should taken care by police because there's clear suspect. He thought they are fooling.

The guy is not giving up...

That guy on Mayonaka TV challenging them.

- I dislike Narukami's popped up collar even more now.

Anyway:
I laughed so hard at the Aiya special. Surprising how Chie didn't finish it.

Human Teddie finally arrives, and it made fangirls all over the world wet their pants.

lol @ the kid crying at Teddie's bear costume looking dead.

Narukami saved the day. Would have been interesting twist if Nanako got attacked by Mitsuo..even though that would have been terrible.

Rise gets her pink glasses, and gets her spunky-ness back. <3

Kashiwagi debut, oh boy. The fun that awaits us with her and Hanako.

A bit of Mitsux(forced)Yukiko - I secretly enjoy this pairing even though it's extremely one-sided, lmao.

Mitsuo scenes this episode were fucking epic. It REALLY made him look like a crazy person. Better than the game setup, as he only had that Yukiko scene...

Next Scent: Void Quest dungeon next??

Another episode that seemed to go by too fast. Pretty low key comparing to all that happened in the last 2episodes. Now the wait for subs.

RIP King Moron:

Great episode IMO. Not much happened but they made a little progress in the investigation, even though they where totally lost in their assumption. I really love the comparison between the frustrating murder case and the beef bowl challenge; you might struggle to reach the meat dimension end, but just you'll have the keep on going!

Human!Teddie ^^

Mitsuo was really creepy and he represent the sad outcome of a social awkward otaku who wants attention. His dungeon is next so it's back into the TV world. ( Yu was like "Let's go!"... wait it's in the middle of the night, get some sleep boy -.-" )

You guys see all those days in the calender passing by? That's the days those who played the game spend on social linking, fusing personas, grinding, building gundams, fishing, running errands for the shine fox, womanizing and TV-shopping.

One scene weren't shown. We didn't see Adachi bringing home a drunk and raging Dojima, even though it should have been a part of the story. That scene just made me feel bad for Nanako and also Yu because he was scolded at.

Massive improvement over the last episode. Loved it. Not only covered everything it needed to but did a good job at it.

The part with the food was really funny. I started cracking up when it focused on Yu's eyes. The line was great, too.

Only thing that was kind of strange and Teddie's S.Link pooping up here. Should have already started. Was like a month before Rise, in game, wasn't it? Guess they wanted to save it for his human form so whatever.

Yeah, even Kanji gave up. Maybe Teddie should try, he's quite a glutton himself ;)
That scene is a nice addicion, since it always felt so sad in the game, when eating neverending beef bowls alone on rainy days.

“Taken in moderation, romance can fertilize your heart, but if taken to excess…it will prick you.” - Brotag no longer can have anyone else in his harem, huh? lol.

He finally gets the Star Arcana...That makes it his 10th one... Star, Lovers, Emperor, Priestess, Strength, Moon, Chariot, Magician, Hangedman, and Fool. I believe he's missing 9 more social link related Arcanas?? I wonder which Persona he will use for the next dungeon....

No wonder Mitsuo got pissed on the forums. Those guys only cared about Rise's ass and making fun of him, lmao.

^Funny how realistic those comments sound..

Kuma's S.Link starts after saving Rise. So, it's not much different here, other than it starting in his human form. Plus, I'm more than sure that getting the Lovers Arcana first than the Star here was ideal, as we are not gonna have an episode of Narukami showing Rise around to get her arcana.

I think Teddie would fall over after getting halfway done. During Port Island trip, he clearly didn't know when he wasn't hungry anymore, and had a hard time getting up, lol.

Perhaps next episode, Narukami's stats improved drastically cause of the challenge. It was sad not being able to finish, but the stat increase were always welcomed. At this rate, he might not "retreat" in one of the "courage needing" scenes.

Oh well...if all the awesomeness of the Void Quest dungeon is fatithfully depicted somehow in the next ep than that'll make up for this 'not very eventful' episode.

Dear god I fucking love Naoto. I rushed through Mitsuo's dungeon in the game just because I was like "REALLY, THIS BITCH FIRST BEFORE NAOTO?" Well, for that reason and because his dungeon has my least favorite dungeon theme music.

Incidentally, Naoto's has my third favorite dungeon music in the game.

Pay no attention to him, Mitsuo's dungeon theme was great. Naoto (the dungeon theme and the character) is pretty awesome too of course, but someone's a little mad thar ;P

As far as Yu's popped collar... this is the same character who agreed that those swimming trunks were stylish.

I'm really bothered by all the comedic segments that are scattered inbetween the scenes, they totally ruin the mood for me especially since I don't find them funny at all. Oh well, at least there is some progression concering the murder cases.

This episode was just brilliant.
Kuma as a human - this is it. xD Although I think that scene, when removed the upper part of his costume in the game look nicer. But it doesn't change the fact that the graphic is great.
Naoto finally introduced himself and is everywhere. Seriously. And it promises to more him in next episodes (But I don't have any objections to this, on the contrary xd).
Well, they'll fight in the next ep.

I kind of was like that, but I'm trying to take the anime for what it is and not compare so much with the game. From the first few episodes it was clear that game and anime would have different "moods." I'm not big on japanese anime comedy either, but Narukami lines are making this show for me.

I liked the scene where the protagonist appeared to describe the Rainy Day Challange as if it was an analogy, before admitting that he was really just talking about the food.
I also liked that he actually showed some emotion, for once. In the earlier episodes, he appeared as some kind of emotionless, manipulative psychopath, in contrast to the sensitive Souji of the game.

Does this anime have a confirmed episode count yet? With the remaining content I'm pretty sure it'll go farther than the standard 1 season run. :o

Anime Network has it up for 25episodes only.
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/Anime/Persona-4/Info
I guess the number of episodes is alright, but still wish it had a bit more due to all the content and it being a bit rushed at times.

No, not really. But I'm sure when she's in the episode more frequently than this episode, people will get annoyed. From the direction the anime is taking though, it looks like they "toned" her down a bit. Which is pretty good. They made Chie a bit more lively aswell, and Yukiko again, to me, is invisible, forget sometimes that she's even there, lol.

I finally got a chance to watch it, since I'm officially on vacation. My internet is pretty awful, but I'll try to catch tomorrow's episode since Mitsuo's dungeon is one of my all-time favorites because of the nostalgia factor.

I can honestly say this was one of the few real-world episodes that I actually really liked. I loved how they tied in the Beef Bowl Rainy Day Challenge to the murder case. I also loved yet another appearance by Aika (seriously, I freaking love Aika - best new character in the anime). Teddie's first foray into the real world was done 'beary' well. Noriko Kashiwagi's appearance in the anime seemed a bit toned down a bit from the game, she seemed much nastier towards the girls in the game version. A little bit disappointed for me. I expect that to change later on, though.

The highlight of the episode was Mitsuo - he was even worse in the anime than in the game. He shows some real emotion here as an anti-social psychopath, whereas he seemed more emo than anything in-game. I was a little worried he was going to hurt Nanako, fortunately, 'Big Bro' came to the rescue just in time. If Mitsuo had hurt Nanako, no doubt Yuu would have beaten him to a pulp, then summoned all of his Personas at once to beat the daylights out of him and send him to hell, then somehow have him resurrected so he could kick the crap out of him AGAIN with all his Personas, sending him back to hell again. But I digress.

I'm starting to have a theory on Aika Nakamura: I think she might be the female reincarnation of the MC from Persona 3/FES (Minato Arisato if you go by the manga name). They have the same mannerisms, sort of. It wouldn't surprise me.

Really good episode overall, despite once again, the derp animation quality (I didn't see the odd collar thingy, though?), but I hope they clean it up for the BD release. I give it a 4/5 and 8/10 rating. Anyhow, Mitsuo's dungeon is next, I can't wait! ;)

P.S.: I still <3 you, Rise! And does anyone besides think they may possibly do the Sun S.Link as a filler episode? I'd like to see Ayane Mitsunaga animated, myself. :)
