| Good developments and great entertainment value overall, mainly due to Shujin and Miyoshi's relationship and characters. Moritaka is ever so irritating though. |

I just hope it gets better, I don't think this is an idiotic harem or loli show or anything stupid like that, but I will agree that parts of the romance is VERY ANNOYING and unnecessary. you're right...i believe it's not as good as the manga. in a way, (in my opinion at least) this is like a battle manga but with your manga as a weapon. we have protagonists, rivals, etc. and basically the romance, as with any other battle manga, is just a thing on the side. in bakuman, it just so happened that the dream or goal they're working so hard for is inevitably linked to romance so it should be expected to play a significant role on their quest....... but then, it's just that the directors chose to focus so much on the romance part that it's so annoying. mashiro romanticizing didn't take up much panels in the manga but now JC Staff gives these scenes more airtime. i've been reading this manga ever since it came out years ago but i didn't feel like i was reading a shoujo-ish manga. i was (still am) always looking forward to the next manga they work on and whether they succeed on getting it serialized and other stuff like that. they're good at destroying their resource material i guess. :c anyway, this is all i'm going to say, if things play out well with the animation producers, the next parts will DEFINITELY get better. it's just getting started. tsugumi ohba is a very good writer. :) --- about the episode: > i don't remember eiji being THAT weird in the manga. i mean there's no doubt he has different things going on, but his animated version is so.......*insert appropriate word here* > saiko and shujin... i was so happy to see then so happy... :3 anyways, great episode! :D |

| this was a really nice episode. Starting from Takagi´s date which was just so cute and sweet and ending with them getting published in NEXT I love how Mashiro said that the feeling is better than getting accepted to high school xD Mashiro´s and Azuki´s love might be unsatisfying now but I think it´s interesting to see them loving each other even without words... |

Love him too XD Anyways, so yea, this whole non relationship thing because their love is so strong really doesn't make me feel for them but whatever. Not too many annoyings moments this time :D Totally knew it was gonna turn into high school with such a fast pace XD |

So it looks like they're in direct competition with Eiji now. I like how the editior set it up not as an insult, but as a challenge. Still can't believe they're only in middle school. I guess things will get more hardcore once they get into high school. |
