...Seriously?

Stan Lee, owner of Marvel Comics, writer of Spiderman amongst others, and has a strong stake in the creation of Heroman, hence the cameo.

Stan Lee is Bruce Lee's nerdy brother. :p (borrowed from The Big Bang Theory).

Stan Lee doens't own Marvel but wss the previous president of the Marvel Entertainment Group when it was decided to go beyond just the comic book. he's also the current present of Stan Lee Media.

I loved it!
Feels like Bones & Gainax had sex & this is their baby. Joey is way too girlish, but I'll let that slide. He respects his electronics unlike that fat kid. I like him for that.

Ok what can i say about this? The fact that Stan Lee is writing this show goes against it because the man has used any inspiration he had a few decades ago. Now he just writes the same old things that where cool the first time he thought of them a long time ago.
School American football player and fat rich bullies, nerd weak kid turning in to a hero, blond sexy rich cheerleader girl as love romance, strict rich father, another uninspired comic way of hero creation that falls in to the category of "i was hit by radiation, fell in a pool of chemicals" and other staff like that, evil Aliens that look like cockroaches, and the worst of all another hero dressed with the US flag. Sure it's nice that you love your country Stan, but for Christ sakes how nationalist are you? It becomes annoying when you try to create a story and you always have to advertise your country. Is not a new shampoo for us to buy. Stop the silly US advertising.
Also NOT THIS LINE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway now that all the bad things where said let's go to the good staff. First Bones. Bones itself seems to be a plus, since animation, artwork etc, look fantastic.
Second despite the predictability of all the things i mentioned and even the clishe flying saucer along with hero saving girl from flaming car, have a certain retro, familiar feeling that can create a sense of childhood memories and make you sit and watch with a funny smile on your face ignoring everything. Is similar to watching a good b-movie. Sure it's a lame b-movie but is awesome for it at the same time.

In the end i guess if you just watch purely to see some comic action with a taste of childhood innocents along with enjoying seeing some big giant evil bugs getting destroyed, you can actually enjoy this show. It all depends on the mentality and what where you expecting to see.

BTW that Heroman has a scary look. Are you guys certain his the good guy? lol.

I've never face palmed so many times during an animation before. This was so filled with ass hattery it freaken hurt. Yes lets have a damn Trap be the main character. Lets take all the worst parts of the American Super Hero genre and the worst parts of the Japanese Super Sentai genre and mix it into one gigantic bowl of shit. Lets have a clearly Japanese looking toy get hit by alien lighting and turn into a Super American Robot. Man I think I just gagged a little.

Well at least the music was decent.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

Didn't much like this; the story felt generic and uninteresting.

Character designs are decent and animation is top notch, but I hate that the main kid looks like a typical anime girl - Even after they called him, "Joey" I didn't believe he was a boy.

I didn't know this was a Stan Lee thing (not that it matters) but I was surprised when I saw him in the restaurant.

I'm probably gonna give this a pass, even if the animation is really good, this thing bored me to tears and the direction seems to be going in the same vain as so many other cliche animes.

I usually watch different stuff than this... things like Special A, or Ouran. But this, man. This was pure epicness. Yeah, it feels like a cartoon, but that doesn't matter. Words cannot describe how epic I thought this was. I really like all the main characters so far.

Oh, and Joey Jones. He is... hot. At first I was wondering why the hell he was wearing those hot skinny jeans... but then I noticed it was set in America, and I was like hell yeah! So, that's a win for me.

Hells yar, America!

I'm enjoying this so far - with it trying to throw as many stereotypical aspects of American culture at us (Hummers, rock music, hot blond cheerleaders, spoiled rich kids, fast food...), it makes me proud to call this great nation my home.

Oh, and also...Black people!
'Bout time!

Though I have to admit, the whole Heroman interface seems pretty damn easy to use - glowing button shows on tricked out glove, press button, initiate badass robot!

Oh, and how about those stylish clothes Joey Jones (really? I would expect someone with the name Stan Lee to come up with that name) wears? Pretty cool imo, trendy leather jacket and skinny jeans with a hole in one knee.

All in all, excellent anime - fun storyline, amazing HD production, and characters that I'm liking so far. Protagonist doesn't come off as a weak person to me, even though it's being forced so when he becomes powerful and cool I can look back and see how much he grew.

P.S. - Oh my lord, Psy, THAT HAIR IS RIDICULOUS.

The first thing that I thought when I heard the professors voice at the start of the episode was Brook from One Piece.

Anyway, decent storyline, decent action. The OP is alright, but I do like the ED. :)

I'll take generic robot show to "generic moe maid panty bra parade" show any day. My only big beef is Joey. Why the hell does he look like a girl? I know that they had to put in fujoshi fodder sometime, but does it have to be the main character?

I'm finally glad we have an anime where the creators can say that the characters are full blooded Americans instead of "half-Japanese". I think the Japanese just wish blonde people were walking down the streets in Japan without wanting to take pictures of them.

Really nice!! Stan Lee has taken an interesting step into the anime scene. I have to agree with everyone that Joey sounds like a puss, but I've been there before at some point. Lina looks like what Winry of FMA would look as a popular cheerleader in high school. And what's with Psy's leg? Did get into a skateboard accident?

This show seems pretty nice,I love the soundtrack of this episode.

I'm not sure what people are talking about,I heard this show was bad it's actually good from the first episode POV.
Of course it's generic Stanlee style look at all his other work and tell me they are different. ^_^
