| I loved this episode. possibly the best so far. I didn't like the little argument between Doumeki and Watanuki near the end. It kinda spoiled the mood. It would have been better IMO if Doumeki had just accepted the invitation, then on to the next scene. |

| Did anyone else notice the lady looked alot younger this episode, I think she was one of those creatures that sucks out your lifeforce so they become younger. Good solid conclusion to the story and next episode should fill in a hole or two. |

| I don't really understand why Doumeki insists on that he doesn't see spirits yet he still sees them :P If he doesn't see spirits them how did he see the woman? |
| A great "finish" to a great season. I'd love to know what the woman was, too. Both suggestions make sense to me. I think Doumeki can't see spirits in general, but some spirits can be seen by anyone. Case in point is that all of the characters can see the sprites. I think there are specific spirits that no one (but Watanuki of course!) can see, and those are the kinds that can't blend in as a normal human. Does this make sense? |

| ah really liked the first person point of view towards the end. this is actually the second experience, first being with the 30th chapter of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, though i think they made it better. AllegroDiRossi said: well what else did you want? yaoi?I wish Watanuki would stop playing so dense, tho! | I thought that maybe her son died of that incurable cough of death Watanuki was developing, and she was some kind of cursed ghost or something because of that. It feels a little strange that there's another episode to conclude this season though, what with the nice ending in this episode. Really liked the anime, definitely going to watch the next season :] |

| It was a bit predictable, but it was so well done. I enjoyed the episode. The ending was very appropriate. Like we've reached the end but we haven't at the same time. Everyone is happy, everything in equilibrium, life goes on. For now. |

| Amazing conclusion to a great first season. This anime had everything: deep drama, comedy-sequences, thrills, a very good story and awesome characters. I at least laughed many times during this show and of course it brought some tears too, when it was going really emotional and deep. The ending was almost epic. |
| Awesome episode, very emotional. I wasn't crying, I was just in the 'sad state'. The best part of the episode was Doumeki smiling. Also, the ending almost felt like a game. Good ending for the main part of the season. Time to watch the side story.. It's inevitable I'll watch the next season, because it's addicting. They cal it Holic for a reason, you know. |

| Great way to finish off the series (in a sense). Man, I don't get why they didn't explain who the woman was the whole time! I'm hoping that might get cleared up in the next episode, or even in the sequel. Either way, I look forward to continuing the series in light that it will be as good as this one. Looking forward to the last and the review of ''XxxHOLiC''. |

| The anime had its ups and downs, but it definitely ended on a high note. Good way to finish the series, very emotional. The ending scene was a nice touch and I really want to move on to the second season now. |
| lol I wanted to know what she was too hahaha. Oh wells :P In a way, she reminds me of the man at the crosswalk from the Horror Story episode awhile back. The more times you meet, the more you'll be pulled into the afterlife D:> Doumeki is love <3 <3 <3 I really liked how this ep ended with the POV from the viewer's side entering Yuuko's shop :D |

| This was by far my favorite story arc thus far, it was so emotional! Watanuki was willing to sacrifice his own life to obtain the love of a mother; a mother who loved her son but was unable to caress him; and Doumeki who despite being indifferent most of the time, chose to save his friend even if his friend might eventually come to hate him. There's also Maru and Moro who are precious by being so considerate to Watanuki at the end. This was lovely. |

| I love when shows save their best episodes for last and go out with a bang. The music in this episode and in this show in general is phenomenal. I also like how calm Watanuki was in this episode, finally no unnecessary screaming for the 1st time ever. |

| Okay, so in this story, I can somehow relate with Watanuki. I mean, sometimes, we make choices that can harm us when we're lonely. This happened to me too, lI didn't bother to think people around me. Doumeki saved him again and I think I got too harsh with Watanuki in previous eps like saying that he doesn't know how to thank Doumeki and being such an ass but I realize that he keeps making lunch for him otherwise. So I think he's showing his gratitude in his own way (I still find him annoying but I guess I got accustomed to it lol). Nice ep I feel bad for the lady :( |
